Hey I really appreciate that. I took some of the moss and put it in the right corner, then another piece that came off and was just floating free, I put in my 15g because the nitrates are high, and moss is good for soaking up nitrates, and thos moss is great at nit outcompeting the other plants for nutrients. I do plan on letting ot grow out from here though. In fact I never actually trimmed it at all ...lol. hey thanks for watching
Well, I'm no expert, but do you use root tabs? Thanks for watching. Edit..my moss didn't need liquid ferts, but when I started using it, the moss really took off fast. The root tabs would obviously be for the jungle val
It looks nice the rock does & that small moss isn't the same as your large one. Can i suggest getting a group of 6 Kuhli loaches to absorb some of the slight waste on the top of your gravel, i wouldn't add no more rocks as the tank just looks right & really nice 👍
Thanks so much. I agree I think I should leave it alone now. I'm guilty of trying to do too much, and things get out of control. Kuhli loaches... a) they freak me out kinda like snakes do. I know that's irrational ...lol b) I already ordered a panda garra. But I ordered it from a trusted seller....Aquahuna. I've ordered a lot from them before and I've never had a problem. They quarantine and treat the fish before they even send them out. But yeah the kuhli is like a snake to me. I like watching them like I love to watch nature shows about snakes, or even the herpetology exhibit at the zoo, but never ever would I want to own one...lol
@@FishRfun You can add to much & lose the look you had originally. My tanks like it is not over powdered gives the tanks good free circulation of the sand so I don't get dead spots & room for my Cory's & I know how much diatoms to leave in there I only clean so much of the back glass monthly. It's like a fobia in real life to you, we had a snake so to it's like watching more than one. I can't wait to see the Garra when it arrives & what they're like, so it's a must on the garra 😂
@@FishRfun i got some panda garra's as wel they are absolutely amazing algae eaters and super active never seen anything like it .cleaned my aquarium from overgrown in algae&biomfilm to spot clean in a couple days, wouldn't trade them for anything.
What kind of moss is the large one? It's been kind of a mystery. My friends @AQUADICTION said they tried to order some over there in the UK and it got lost in the mail. I think they found it as "fire moss" or something like that...I'd have to find their comment. It was sold to me as "flame java moss" but everyone is saying it's just Christmas moss. Well that small one was sold as Christmas moss. And the same small one is in my 15g and it's growth pattern is nothing like the big flame java moss....so I'm at a loss as to what my mosses actually are..lol
@@peridot-20lol...yep there's going to be 2 in the 55g and 1 in the 15g. The bioload I'm not worried about, but Aquadiction convinced me that one in my 15g would be fine. After reading the requirements and watching the video they did on the panda garra, I think both my tanks are set up well. The 55g for sure should be heaven for their aquascape likings, and the 15g almost has too much flow. That's why I baffle that one output nozzle because it's too strong. The pump literally is too string for this tank. People complain about on reviews of the 15g fluval flex, but overall it's been a great tank
Because If I get 2 albino cory cats and 6 peppered the peppered ones would stay together and exclusives the albino. So that's why when dealing with certain fish best to add them with their own species.

When I started getting cory catfish .I thought they would school in unity until I realized that you get them with their own kind. Not in different species for different schools.
They probably would school tighter if it were all one species, but people waaaaay smarter than me about this stuff say that it's perfectly fine. They even breed in here, so I think they're pretty satisfied, but I understand where you're coming from. Like I have 18 pygmy corys in my other tank, and they definitely school more tightly, and they just wouldn't be appropriate for the 55g with all these much larger fish like the angelfish. They'd eat most of the pygmies because they're still so small
