Merry Christmas and welcome to my Christmas home tour for 2022. Most of my pieces are vintage and thrifted. I have a lot of pieces that were painted by my Mama and myself, a few pieces made by my Granny. Please let me know what your favorite piece is. This year I was feeling a little more nostalgic and decided to use more of my older pieces. I was very late getting my decor out this year. I just couldn't find time and I was being a bit of a Grinch. Thankfully I got over it and got it done. I really enjoy sitting around at night with a cup of hot chocolate and having Christmas music playing. Thank all of you so much for your support of my channel!! Oh Lisa I really enjoyed your Christmas home tour! Always do! You change up your displays every year. You’re the Queen of kissing Santa’s! I’m going back in to rewatch but my favorite decor is your miniature kitchen utensils tree and your toy tree. I love love your new flooring, ceiling and new paint color. You’ve been busy. I had no idea you were so artsy and had painted some of your decor. I guess you inherited that craftiness from your Mom. You have a blessed and Merry Christmas also.

Thanks so much! I try to change things up each year so that I don’t have to buy new stuff and it looks different using it in different places. Growing up my mom even decorated the bathroom and all the bedrooms! I put a couple of things in my bathroom but that’s about it other than what you see. I use to do every room but as I’m getting older I an doing less. Have a blessed holiday season!!

Girl it’s the end of May memorial weekend and I just found your beautiful video, I loved all your beautiful decorations and vintage items specially the toys tree brought me so many beautiful memories because I had all them toys and I used to love them all and I still do. Those were the times when playing as a kid it was something real joyful and memorable ....those were the real toys. This is what my kitchen/dining room looks like. Mine is almost completely gingerbread, with Candy canes mixed in. It's done all year round with vintage pie plates, sifters, and rolling pins, so it is so easy to just go with that. Every year someone gifts me with a New Gingerbread piece on my birthday in November. My husband just keeps adding me new shelves. I think I'm finally out of space. I'm older now, so really don't know how many years I'll continue to decorate like I do now, but I will always try. I do have one extra dining room with a Christmas Tree that stays decorated year round...Coca-Cola/Campbell's Soup 50's diner theme. I have most of my Grands and Great Grands Christmas gifts wrapped, and under the tree. I Christmas year round...I love it. Love the decorations and the Christmas Spirit you have. God Bless.

I love all of your Christmas decor! I live in a late 1700's log cabin and decorate very primitive since it goes with my house. However, I love all vintage decor. I actually decorated my antique piesafe this year with all 1950's decor, including a ceramic tree, because I appreciate all things vintage! I love your toy tree, as a child of the 70's and 80's, I played with many of those toys. I also like that you have color. The ceramic trees on your entertainment center are beautiful! Lisa, you’re so lucky nothing fell off your hutch when you were moving it to reset the lights, omg don’t do that! I would cry if something broke and those things aren’t even mine! 😢

Thank you . I was very slowly sliding it making sure nothing was moving.the reason that santa fell is he is sitting on a small ledge on the coke crate. I just didn’t want to have to completely empty it if not necessary. I got smart when I had my new flooring installed and I put some of those furniture sliders under it and my entertainment center for just this purpose. Without those that thing wouldn’t budge!

Love your home tour. I'm not Christian, but still appreciate you showing us your holiday decor. Traditions actually started with pagans long before Christianity. Lots of research can be done on this subject. Happy Holidays to you!

Thank you! Some of the toys are Hallmark fisher price mainly found on eBay or hallmark stores. Some are the brand worlds smallest toys that I just made into ornaments and some are actual toys that I made work.

Miss Lisa☺️I guess I don’t know what pecan wood is or all about. Can you please enlighten me? I LOVE all the strawberry things and the gingerbread collection you have amassed. I just watched Rudolph a few days ago as I too am feeling a bit nostalgic myself this year as my Hunny has had a pretty serious health scare. We are in a very dangerous place in our country and our fellow Americans seem to be very unaware of our decline. So I guess being nostalgic has helped me as I weather all the changes around me. God bless you for addressing one of our biggest declines and that is the love of our Lord and Savior. I do wish you a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years. Thank you so much. Yes it is scary how fast things are getting bad around here but my faith in the Lord is what keeps me going and I know no matter what he is with me through it all! Pecan resin was very popular in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The used crushed pecan shells made into a powder and mixed with a resin. It was then poured into molds similar to plaster or ceramics. Smaller pieces were solid and could be heavy like plaster is but the large pieces were usually hollow like ceramic pieces. If you ever find a vintage piece that seems heavy for its size, flip it over and see if the bottom is a light brown color, if so then that’s pecan resin. I painted hundreds of pieces for a local shop that were sold nationwide.
