A Visit From Two Of Our Boys In One Day! 

A glimpse into our lives at Chilliwack Labradoodles.
Which includes a visit From two of our boys in one day!
Today was an exciting day at Chilliwack Labradoodles! It started with some big news: Leche had a confirmed progesterone test and had a successful honeymoon with Rex. They were fun and flirty, and we can't wait to meet their puppies in August.
After Rex returned to his Guardian home, it was time to get Red Truffle bathed and ready for her new family. It was her going home day! We spent quality time playing, reinforcing her training, and giving her big cuddles before her new family arrived. They were so excited to meet her that they had hardly slept all night. We'll certainly miss Red, but it's clear her new family is well-prepared and already in love with her.
Next, we went to pick up Obi from his Guardian home. He had a semen analysis and examination with our Reproductive Specialist today. With a two-hour drive ahead of us, I picked up my daughter early from school to ensure she didn't miss her out-of-town baseball game later that evening. Obi loves car rides and was very well-behaved.
Mike and Codie met us in a separate vehicle with Leche, who was conveniently in heat and would help Obi complete his task at the vet. Our veterinarian was running behind, so we took Obi for a little walk and hung out in the truck. When it was his turn, he confidently greeted the veterinary staff with big tail wags. After a successful examination and collection, we returned back to the waiting area.
The veterinary office was busy, filled with other animals and even a free-roaming cat! Obi was friendly and content with sitting and watching the bustle in the office. We then loaded Obi into the truck for the long journey back to his Guardian family.
As the day turned into night, my daughter and I took Leche with us to the out-of-town baseball game. Leche’s Guardian family lives close to the city we were in, so it made sense to arrange for them to meet us at the ballpark to pick up Leche. After a fun night at the ballpark, we headed home. Leche will stay with her Guardian family until August 11th, when she will return to our home to have her puppies!
