This is the best walk through of a little town from someone who grew up there. I have never been to Woodstock but after watching your video i feel like i lived there for a few months. Nice little town feel.
@@HalifaxWalker Pretty good, I went for a walk 3 days ago, and it lasted over 6 hours and around 10 miles… Been resting yesterday and today as my feet are sore. I am planning on coming back to N.B, in a couple of years, to somewhere near the ocean.
@@HalifaxWalker update! We made our trip and did the same walk you did! It was really fun for us to see all the places in person. Definitely going to check out more of your routes next time we travel out east!
Hello David, thanks for watching this video and thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated. Nice to hear from Ghana. When I lived in Toronto I worked for a trucking company and we had a couple of guys from Ghana working there. Very nice people. Thanks again and have a great day.

Hello James. Thanks for watching my videos. Thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated. Since you left here there has been a lot of changes. Just wondering where you live. I know some people named Saunders in New Brunswick.
Hello Jamie Smith , thanks for watching this video. Thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated. We moved to Halifax from North York in 2018. Love it in Halifax. Anyway, take care. Hope you have a nice day.

Good morning Seven Arrows. Thanks for watching this video . Thanks for your comments.greatly appreciated. For some reason your comments just appeared on my screen this morning. IT says 2 weeks ago. Anyway thanks. Did you always live in Woodstock? We left Woodstock about 19 years ago. Lived in Toronto until 4 years ago when we came to Halifax.
Good morning wacky dude. Thanks for watching my videos and thanks for commenting.I just saw your comments now. Sorry I'm so late answering. We lived in Woodstock long ago. Then in Toronto and now been in Halifax for six years. Take care, nice talking to you.
So, what is the rent like there and what kind of jobs is there? I heard the jobs were good since it's so close to the interstate border. But then you said there's not much to do, so what would someone who doesn't drive do for work?
Good morning Leah, thanks for watching my videos. Thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated. I will try to answer your questions about Woodstock,NB. It's a beautiful place, located beside the St. John River. As I stated in the video, my biggest concern is that most of the stores and restaurants have relocated out by the highway. The downtown is really dead. A lot of people work in the trucking industry. There are several large trucking companies there and nearby. Truck garages and truck sales places. Woodstock is a potato farming area. Well , I hope this helps. Take care.
In a city they have stacked homes onto the stores in the downtown, and the need for an ambulance for those apartments is a little hectic, I’m guessing apartments are also difficult for ambulances, if they stacked Buisness’ and not houses 🏘 it might have a better flow and more room for growth parks and trees nature I believe buisness and not houses were meant to be stacked like 3 or 5 buisness buildings stacked since the beginning 🤷🏻♀️
Hello Leslie. Thanks for watching this video. Thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated. You are correct, Appartments can be a bit of a challenge for emergency workers. I grew up in a small village but have been a city dwellers for many years. There are many positive things about living in a city. Halifax is a beautiful place. Anyway, thanks again for your comments. Take care and be safe.
Good morning Oscar, thanks for watching this video. Thanks for your question. Yes Woodstock is a small town. Many good people live there. It's a friendly place. Very safe place to walk around. You will love it there. Hopefully this is helpful.
@@HalifaxWalker it seems to be pretty quiet. I don't know why so many people complain about it as if it was the worst town in the planet. They say about drugs , but it seems to be really safe. Regards from Mexico city :) . I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND THANKS FOR SHOWING HALIFAX.
Good morning Oscar, so nice to hear from Mexico. I have a friend in Jalico that I talk to on RU-vid. Thanks for watching my videos. Greatly appreciated. Hope you are having a great day. Take care.
@@HalifaxWalker thanks for answering again :) I'm from Jalisco actually , if you ever want to experience something fascinating pleas go to the different towns in Mexico . Some of them are extremely cheap and really gorgeous. There is more than only Cancun , Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan . Saludos !!! Again
I like the video but as a life long resident the majority of your history and a lot of the current facts are wrong. That was never a music store and has been a drug store for over 100 years just an example of your info. Woodstock is way busier than you make it out to be. You need to be careful as it seems people use your videos for info.
Hello Jerry. Thanks for your comments. I think you are trying to help, thanks. If you are talking about beside the drugstore, there was indeed a music store. It was called Jones Music. I know Woodstock very well. Have a t day.
