In this video, we visited Prizren, Kosovo. We had researched it on the internet before and it caught my attention because almost all the people in this city spoke Turkish. When the Ottoman Empire came to Kosovo, there were people who stayed here, so the next generation continued to learn and speak Turkish.
First of all, we had breakfast at Sarajeva Börekcisin in the city center and the minced meat pastry was really delicious. If you are in Prizren, you should definitely stop by.
And there were Turkish people among the shopkeepers. We chanced upon a man selling Kahramanmaraş ice cream to ask for a place.
Afterwards, we went to a place we found on the internet to try Fli, the famous pastry, but it was neither a bakery nor a restaurant. It was a house sold on a tray to order and we had to go back, but this way we also saw the quiet places of Prizren.
For the noon prayer, we went to the Mosque, which was jointly restored by Turkey and Kosovo, and prayed there.
Later, we were hungry again and we sat down to taste traditional flavors at the Beska restaurant in the city center, which has the most points and comments on the internet, and the food we ate was really delicious. If you happen to be in Prizren, we definitely recommend you to stop by.
