After such a busy day at uni, watching this really helped me to de-stress :) I finished reading Addie LaRue, which was amazing, and the quote "What is a person, if not the marks they leave behind?" will forever stay with me. You leave your own mark with every video, Mel, and I really appreciate the genuine brightness you bring with each one ♡

Honestly I love weekly vlogs but these daily ones are also so chill to watch. Please just do whatever makes you the most comfortable and what brings you joy! As long as you are happy we will also be happy 🥰

Mel, I love when you talk about how the pressures to post and read can be overwhelming. I felt like that all of 2022 as well and I’ve been trying to just take some time for myself and I found I’m FINALLY getting excited about reading and the book community again.

Take care of you Mel. We all go through the thing called life. Don’t let anyone or any expectations tell you how to run your channel or your life. Be you and your true friends and followers will support you. No matter what.

Have a great day gorgeous ❤❤I also don't think you can show to much(unless your in the bathroom or some personal stuff). But I also understand days where you don't want to get up or hate your face or body or when personal trauma gets in the way. Eating disorders are horrible to manage and I also respect you for even mentioning it here. I have chronic illnesses and there are days I physically do not get up so I commend you. And you recognized you were burnt out and don't want to do that again and i appreciate that and don't want you to get yourself in that space again either.

I really enjoy the chilled, slower style of vlogs. Just watching people buy books, get coffee and do ordinary things can be very relaxing. Also I am glad to hear you are not putting so much pressure on yourself and prioritising your mental health. That's so important 💛 I'm currently reading 'Muse of Nightmares' and loving it. I also totally agree about the 'Daisy Jones and the Six' show! Finally someone who agrees that it has been underwhelming haha.

I personally love this new style of vlogs and I'm already an avid podcast-listener! As someone who's been in ED recovery for ~3/4 years at this point, a lot of what you talk about resonates. I think taking it slow and taking care of yourself goes hand in hand, and it's beautiful that you're both promoting and commiting to it! ❤️🫶 On a side note: around the time the first episode of the podcast was released, I listened to "How to Keep House While Drowning" by K. C. Davis and it felt like a perfect match to some of the themes you've been talking about. Highly recommend if you want a hug in the form a non-fiction/self-help book!

I've been following you for a while, I love your vlogs, your videos, the insight you have in the books you read (everytime you talk about a book, it makes me want to also pick it up to see what thoughts I have about it as well) and your vibe overall. Your channel made me pick up reading again after a long time, it also made me pick up Spanish books again after years of very little in that aspect (I was born in Spain, but moved away at the beginnings of my teenage years so it's been hard to properly reconnect with my Spanish side, you helped a lot with it. Oh man I had a journey! with To Paradise! I dnfed it soon after starting the last section because I could not get into all the exposition that went into that time period - it was SUCH a departure from the other two timelines. The book up to that point was pretty good - I'd give it 3.5 stars for the parts I did read.
