I would take Luma to the vet. Normally a well house trained dog that starts having accidents and needing to go in a shorter amount of time than normal can sometimes be a sign that they have a UTI

When our dog started to have accidents randomly during the night he ended up having diabetes. I would take Luma in to have her checked out!!

2 pieces of advice for Europe from someone who just went this past summer! The South of France is AMAZING!! I visited Nice, France for several nights and loved it. However, when training to Monte Carlo for a day trip, I got to see all of the unbelievably gorgeous beach towns that line the coast and we instantly regretted staying in Nice and not picking a smaller, more quaint beach town to stay in. I would think that your trip with 2 babies could be much more enjoyable in a more relaxed beach town in comparison to the busyness of Nice. Secondly, I have a suggestion for your 6 day gap... Switzerland!!! I also went to Switzerland (Zermatt specifically) right after being in France and I flew from the Nice airport into the Geneva airport and it was such an easy, direct flight and you were instantly in a stunning new place. Switzerland would make sense geographically to then go to London next. As far as spending 6 days there, you could absolutely do it. There are so many different places to visit in Switzerland and you could pick 2 (or maybe even 3) places to stay in for that time period. As far as getting around because I am sure that is where the stress lies with 2 kids, Switzerland is known for their comfortable and well-designed train system and I can certainly attest to how enjoyable they were. I saw plenty of children on the trains and it didn't seem difficult, and there was always a place to store your luggage. And the most important part- the views are unbelievably stunning everywhere we trained! I would highly recommend Zermatt, but have also heard amazing things about Interlaken and Lucerne. Think small mountain towns with delicious food and stunning views everywhere you look. Anyways those are my two cents, haha!!

Hey !! As an European (Swiss) I really suggest you to come to Switzerland! Its very kid friendly and so beautiful!! London is very pretty too but very busy. Italy is always a good idea 😌

heads up, Europe during winter is verrry cold. I lived in Flagstaff which has similar winters to Utah and when I visited England and France during winter, it was significantly colder even if the temp. doesnt seem bad. Highly recommend warm layers, mittens/gloves, beanies, anything to keep you guys covered!!

Mallorca! We just went for our honeymoon and it was so relaxing. I’ve been to Nice as well and I’d recommend Mallorca over staying in Nice/South of France longer. You can stay in the larger city of Palma where you fly in, but we took this beautiful old wooden electric train to Soller in the mountains. So many kids in the town that would all play together in the square every night! If you want to be near the beach, there’s a 20-30 minute tram ride to the beach town of Port de Soller, which was beautiful and perfectly chill. You can even rent a boat for a reasonable price, even if you don’t have a boat license!

Aw I hope Luma is doing okay. She's well trained and not a little puppy so if she's Peeing in the house there might be some other underlying issue. Hopefully it's nothing too serious but definitely worth seeing a vet about. Dogs can also do this as way of "acting out" when they're not happy or if there's a lot of change happening and deviations within the family/household routine can cause them stress. Please keep us posted on how she's doing❤ On another note, Cove and Lola are the cutest ever!!

@flyingthenest just took their baby to Switzerland and it looked like a really good place for kids! lots of playgrounds and kids activities. Also, maybe you should think about buying a steam cleaner. It will more than pay for itself in time. My family had one growing up and it was so useful because we had a dog.

My best friend’s dog was having the same issue and found out he had chronic UTIs! Always best to get it checked out!

So when you travel do you just pump like 4x a day? Do you save the milk? Stresses me so much to think of flying with frozen milk! Very beautiful cities in Europe: Porto (Portugal), Prague (Czech Republic), Edinburgh (Scotland) or Salzburg (Austria…there is also really cool salt cave with slides, Cove would love that “Salzburg Salt Mines”) … everywhere in Europe is great public transport, so you don’t need to worry about car seat for the kids. But car rental is actually not that expensive and almost all of them provide car seats.

To clean the carpet you can get an enzyme based cleaner. That gets rid of the smell.

I had this same issue with my dog. He had an accident because we didn’t hear him needing to go out in the night. Then where he tinkled the scent was like imbedded into the rug and he kept going back to it. Only because of the scent. So we bought a urine cleaner that’s breaks down pee enzymes! But you have to get the one with enzyme break down! And that + getting a carpet cleaner was the only thing that made him stop!

My moms trick is white pepper. Sprinkle it where she likes to pee bc she will sniff the spot and it will keep her away but without hurting her or the babies badly and chemical free. Clean thoroughly first tho
