Over the past 14 years, I've returned to watch this trilogy in full at least 30 times. And I have YET to buy Absolut vodka. Total failure of a commercial.
the missing ingredients that make this drink sooo much more refreshing ... gulping via an oversized 1L martini glass, 2 of your best friends who you refuse to never see again, and topped off with heaping scoops of raw seawater. bonus ingredient: Pitzmans!
Love how Absolut payed them to make commercials about anything they wanted as long as the mentioned the product and they came up with the most messed up meta scene possible.
This genuinely may be one of the funniest, well acted videos on this site. I don't think there is any other comedian who has quite captured the essence of this to date. The held back anger in Tim's voice, Zach's jolt when Tim says "call 911", Eric's uncomfortable, passive mediator character...fucking genius, man
What the fuck is objective humor? Every single piece of artistic output is judged through a subjective lens. This is objectively the dumbest take I’ve ever seen on humor.
I always lose it at the end for some reason when they are spilling flour over him and he looks like he´s about to have a mental breakdown on the spot from such a trivial thing, wearing that wig.
"I told the bartender, 'Better make it doubles, cuz these two are HOT TO TROT!" / "Girls, would you mind waiting by the jet skies?... But don't sit on 'em." - Tim kills it in this one!
I find this endlessly funny. It tripped me out for so long because I had no idea what was going on and if this was an actual commercial or a fake one. And it's so weird how endlessly it looks in on itself and all three guys are self-aware of the commercial, yet blend the commercial into the drama. Great job!
I'm always amazed at their ability to keep a straight face, it's all so gut-bustingly hilarious. I would be physically unable to not crack up if I were enacting any of that.
Holy shit I just love how the minds of those guys work. The plot twists, the mindfuck and bizarre situations that make you go full wtf are really geniuses for this type of humour. Like when they were going with the typical non sense and then Tim just went angry with Zach, going all serious like "come on, just try to be more normal, THIS is too mental even for us" making the expectator question if this is really a blooper and Tim's really annoyed (and Eric trying to deffend Zach who's all ashamed), or if that's all part of a sketch. But then, BAM! The whole video goes full serious commercial about the product, selling it in its entirety. But AGAIN, at the end makes you think: are they "fighting" each other because they're actors friends with each other, been told that could do whatever they want to and just decided to have fun and fuck shit up OR all of this was scripted and/or planned by them? God I love those minds. Nonsense and extreme randomness as its finest.
The believeability (yet complete absurdity) of the last few minutes is stunning... This is amazing. It gets genuinely uncomfortable, even when it's not serious. You guys are GEENYISSSSSSS.
When Zach does that little "vodka dance" with the sprinkles I lose it. I don't know what it is, that shit is the funniest thing i've ever seen. I went back and watched it about five times. ahhhh!
Hells yes. "I didn't make enough cookies for five. I made cookies for three. There's not enough room at the breakfast nook." I want to be Zach's mail-order bride.
9-1-1 Dispatcher: “What is your emergency?” Director’s Assistant: “We are filming on set, and Zack Galifinakas had a meltdown and threw flour on Tim Heidecker, who is having me call 9-1… hello?”
