I am listening to this sermon while working from home in this COVID-19 lockdown. I haven't been to a church building in weeks and this sermon really spoke to me. Maybe we need to look at the establishment that we have today and bring some of the wilderness back when church buildings reopen. Maybe this has given us an opportunity to step out of the comfort we have amassed and get back to what Church is about. Thank you for posting this audio here!
Being raised in the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church of Seattle WA I heard this name pronounced and lauded. It understand and miss this style of preaching out of the National Baptist tradition
The books written by Dr. Ray wrote are still available, however I'm not too sure about recorded sermons. He was pastor at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (Brooklyn, NY) for many years. I checked their website and I only saw the sermons of the current pastor. Here is the link to another of his sermons online: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZCnVlY9MY9w.html
I life member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, having been baptized by Dr. Sandy F. Ray. If you call the office 718-574-5900, someone will answer. The church has a library of his sermons and may have copies of his book - Journeying Through a Jungle.
