Thank God Phoebe did well with her surgery. She is the sweetest little thing. It’s amazing how quickly she seems to be recovering. I’m so happy for her and for you and for the rest of herd. Life can be good!! She looks like nothing has happened to her at all. Very intrigued with the hay box which was adorable. Keep up the great work with her Sarah. You are doing an awesome job keeping them all healthy and happy always.❤

This is my worst nightmare..... I am looking into Baldwin guinea pigs and I've been straight up bingeing your videos. They are SO helpful and offer an insight into the reality of owning guinea pigs and how much care and effort they require. I hope dear Phoebe gets better soon- this is any piggie owner's nightmare. I do hope she'll be alright. Phoebe is a strong little piggie and I'm wishing her THE BEST.

So happy that Phoebe is doing well and may that continue. Had the same issue with my 4yr old Pippy, huge stone had to be removed but unfortunately she didn't do so well with the anaesthetic. She had terrible diarrhoea and i had to keep her seperated from the other two for a week ( C&C set up next to the others). She didn't want to move or eat and i had to gently wash her butt several times a day. It was so stressful and i was back and forth to the vets. She's doing much better now, but we have to deal with her ovarian cysts next. Likewise with cost at around £900.

Its so amazon how fast guinea pigs recover from surgery! So great it went well! Surgery was probably her only chance to survive - judging from how she looked in the beginning of the video and from what you said about her situation. Thank you for taking good care of these piggies!

It's such a huge relief to see Phoebe looking so well after her surgery. She is so active and looks so happy in the video. Nacho absolutely cracks me up in every single video you share. We love the happy hay co, living locally to their farm is also is a bonus for next day delivery! Crau is like the champagne of hay! Thankfully our pigs like the orchard variety best! Glad phoebe is on the mend!

Im so glad shes doing better and made it threw the surgery. we just lost our 3yr old when she decided to grow 3 stones at once. She was on pain med and an antibiotic but within a week of finding the stones she had passed 2/3 stones but developed one of the worst bladder infections my vet had ever seen and passed laying on my chest the morning before she was supposed to be rechecked and possibly put under for surgery. That was a rough phone call right as the office opened but she had just gone down hill really fast that night so I made the choice to give her extra pain meds and just let her relax in no pain before she left us on her own.

She has just turned 4 years old. She was spayed for ovarian cysts in September last year, since then she lost the ability to urinate (it just passively leaks out unless I express her bladder). Urine retention likely led to the bladder stone developing.

I want you to know, Sarah, I'm a Christian, and I know God is REAL, and when my 3 sows had surgery, 1 with a serious one, I prayed to God to be with them, guide the vet's hands, and for a really speedy recovery!! When I read your post about Phoebe this week, and I prayed God would show you His Mercy and grace, and that little Phoebe would not only have a successful operation, but a miraculous recovery , very quick, so I could tell you that God answers prayer, even for animals, because He created them!! I wanted to let you know, because I heard your report earlier about how well everything went, and I started jumping up and down!! She's a miracle sow, LOL, I KNOW IT WAS GOD! God bless you, Sarah!!

I don't know of breeders but there is the LA guinea pig rescue amongst other piggie rescue organisations. Our little Callie was born in a rescue so they are definitely worth asking 😊 ❤️

They may be getting a lot of their water from fresh food, you can help by washing/wetting down any lettuce leaves etc that they get. They will mostly likely learn to use the bottle in time, but its also recommended to use a bowl too, it encourages them to drink more 😊

Nacho is a Lunkarya, they have curly hair like texels but it goes out at different angles, Peruvians have long straight smooth hair 💛🐹
