A lovely walk around Bodrhyddan Hall Estate Open Gardens, near Rhuddlan, in North Wales as part of the National Garden Scheme in the UK.
Bodrhyddan Hall has been home to Lord Langford and his family for over 500 years. It is a Grade 1 listed property surrounded by expansive gardens, parkland, and woodlands totalling several hundred acres.
The gardens themselves cover around 12 acres and are a mixture of formal and natural areas. They include a formal parterre, lawns, ponds, a Japanese walk of life and rugged woodland areas. There are a number of native trees and others from further afield, including giant sequoia, cedar of Lebanon and an Indian bean tree.
Well worth a visit if you enjoy looking at lovely gardens and you live in or are visiting this part of the world.
