A village walk with everything, even a pub at the end if you so wish to continue along Forty Foot Bank to the George - Dogs welcome, has a dog mat, a tin full of dog treats and in the winter, an open roaring fire!
In light of all the lovely comments received, thank you. Buster thought it would be nice to share the walk from the village to Bodsey toll.
And as the title says - it’s a walk to tick all the boxes.
Continuing to raise the issue that the Mereside Village Association need to change their stance when it comes to dogs being allowed to exercise on the “playing field”.

Who is the real criminal in all this Buster asks?
In 1980 - the former association, now a charity) registered the “village green” as a “playing field” - this comes with a standard PSPO and until the Association deregister the “playing field” and reregister it as a “village green” - what it actually is - nil can be done.
The PSPO can’t be challenged until 2026 when reassessed.
A Charity when it comes down to those living in this village state, quote.
“THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ESTABLISH AND RUN A VILLAGE HALL AND PLAYING FIELD AND TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE VILLAGE OF RAMSEY MERESIDE IN THE PARISH OF RAMSEY ("AREA OF BENEFIT") WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, AGE, DISABILITY, NATIONALITY, RACE OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE

So Buster and now a few of his chums has taken it upon themselves to change / challenge the current restrictions on dogs on the village green / playing fields for the welfare of dogs and their owners.
