Can't understand why anyone would abuse you for taking these videos. They are great and only help promote the area in a positive way. We did the walk from Whitby to Robin Hoods bay along the cliff which was challenging but beautiful. And we were happy to bump into you before we set off from Whitby which great.

ive walked that path many times Whitby holiday park has change a lot since the mid 1980s seen some lovely sunsets there too . Thanks for sharing this video i enjoyed it my kids were young and i actually had a life back then too .

Great video Simon more please. To have a static up there nowadays you need to be minted. Cost of caravan and fees. I do believe you only get something like 10 to 15 years with your new van too regardless of condition before you need to replace it. Not on my pension 😁

Love Whitby holiday park, camped there just before they stopped allowing tents. It’s a beautiful walk to the abbey from there. Sorry you met a pair of pilchards on the path.

Goodness I’ve walked that path many a time when I was a nipper. Mam n dad used to take us camping and what felt like every day we walked into Whitby and then on to the beach on the west side, felt like,e miles when I was a kid. Of course in those days the path took you on and through the graveyard, there was a coastguard station and the tv mast in those days. Interesting the concrete block with the plaques on was one of the supports for the mast. Unfortunately you get idiots everywhere including the beautiful town of Whitby, you’re so lucky being able to call Whitby home.

Simon , always keep your cool , in today's world, , the criminal is always right, you are the one will be going to jail,you are right to warn walkers that the Cleveland way is a difficult walk from the bay, in 2015 took the walk , took 4 hrs, stop for many pictures, brown sheep charge me, did a bullfighter move, sheep ran full speed into fence post, sun burned lobster face, either it is always a crazy guy or a crazed sheep that ruins your day, will be in Whitby in two weeks hope to meet you at the angel from Chicago where we do the duck

Me and the wife walked from robin hoods bay to whitby along the cliff tops it took ages we were knackered when we got to steps

If you have have him on video carrying on and swearing you should report him to the Police mate. Getting a visit from them might nip his aggressive ways in the bud. Whatever you do don't wear your little kippah hat when you go to the station though or there will be hell on😀
