Somehow the music and everything made me feel like I was in a walking simulation video game, in a good way. Walking around in new towns is my favorite thing when I travel (almost all I need for my trips..) so thank you for taking your viewers for a tour in a peculiar town I would otherwise most likely never have heard of 🙏
Was a great experience just to walk around and take in the ambiance. This was a first in terms of solo travel for me. Definitely see myself doing it again as often as I can. Lots more to see both within Australia and overseas
It's a very attractive town, especially for one of 24,000 population (according to Wikipedia). From the look of it, I would expect more. Thanks for showing us around.
The council area which includes a few small surrounding towns had a population of approximately 29,000 at a last census a few years back. I took the Wikipedia figures in the last video but also saw estimates up to 35-38,000 which by my impressions would likely be more accurate. An interesting fact I learnt is that the median age in Armidale is lower than the national average (on account of the university pulling in students from all across regional Australia and even from the city) including most big cities making it an anomaly in rural Australia where the opposite is the case as in most countries
