I came here before but was in winter, now i wanted to walk again but in summer to see how it looks. Berchtesgaden is a picturesque town located in the Bavarian Alps in southeastern Germany, near the border with Austria. This charming town is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, rich history, and numerous outdoor activities.
INFORMATION: Eagle's Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) Is officially open from mid May until the end of October. Is a mountain retreat built for Adolf Hitler on Kehlstein Mountain, this site offers historical insights and panoramic views of the Alps. Today, it serves as a restaurant and a viewpoint, accessible by a scenic bus ride and an elevator.
