I was in the area after visiting Bletchley Park and the National Museum of Computing, and figured if I hurried I could manage a couple hours at The Bate Collection of Musical Instruments at Oxford University (I had visited on previous trips when I had more time available). Because the museum's confines are rather tight and there were a number of people around (and I did not want to disturb them), and simply because I did not have enough time, I did not stop and vocally comment on each instrument. But I did try and at least catch every instrument in passing, to give viewers an idea of what is there in this hidden gem of a museum.
