Bruh, ward is one of my favorites, but Frak took him out bad. Was not expecting that performance from him. Craziest setups and word play, then came in with consistent heavy punches. Nearly flawless performance. Mad respect.
@@jamelwright3234 like I said, Award is one of my favorites. But man, I’ve never seen him struggle so bad to rebuttal his opponent, like he was in the second round. Plus, his angles just weren’t that strong against frak, and just was not as heavy with the punches as frak.
This year is the problem with being a crazy angle guy is you are going to be penalized when you mess up. It's like a rebuttal guy screwing up. It needs to be clean. I personally gave Frak 1,Ward 2 and Ward 3 Crowd is always against award I don't know why
Fraks second was his worst round imo. Ridiculously cringe inducing and wildly awk. I almost wanted to jump through it bc it was so painful to watch lol... his third round was his best but it still wasn't enough. This was easily a gentlemans 30 for Ward based off writing, freestyles/rebuttals, and performance alone. Frak seemed uncomfortable and his material was seriously lacking. The jokey bars are cool but they still have to land and get a reaction. He was barely getting any which is crazy considering the location. Anyway Ward 3-0.

He honestly doesn't. He has more of a KOTD style. I like his angles, his pen is elite but he would get dog walked at URL. You need more than just a pen, you need showmanship, stage presence and aggression too. URL is the champions league.

@@RighteousFollwer Charron never battled on the big stage on URL. Only small rooms. And I never said that Frak doesn't have skills, he just isn't the complete package. You can't just have one strength and make it to the top of URL. There are a bunch of people that have better pens, can angle better and have other skills on top of that like Loso, B Dot, Geechi, Calicoe etc. You might not like their styles but they're objectively better than Frak at this point of time. But maybe Frak will tweak his style too someday make it to the big league.

Incredible battle for both, best angle against Ward Ive seen yet and he still stood tall, Frak is a dangerous battler, and Ward needs to take a breather after this Clips battle.
Yup yup … he overbooks himself, and ends up getting washed. Prepping his ass off, and washing no names every weekend only to turn around and sleep on someone like Xcel and gets humiliated. It’s just bad strategy. Can’t excuse it.

It's not often that you watch an A Ward battle and he didn't have the best rebuttals. Frak was prepared and looked mad comfortable, awesome battle. A Ward's 2023 run gave us some crazy battles!

I had it a tie and I'm being a little generous to Frak. A Wards the better writer, battler, and performer. Could go 2-1 Ward, but at most a tie. That's if you judge battles on the way I do it. I judge each battler on Bars, Schemes and Performance. Not sure how you judge it, but if you agree with those judgements, then at most a tie, or 2-1 Ward.
@@renotheson1429 I judge battles based on everything, writing being the most important. That includes wordplay, punchlines, schemes, angles, reverse punches, etc. Then delivery, performance, freestyles and rebuttals, how one is reserved on stage, etc etc etc. Ward won in all those regards. Clearly.

Pretty amazing battle from both MCs. I guess I’d give it to Frak 3-0, with all rounds being debatable. His character assassinations are off the charts. Ward held his own, but it was just not enough.

Yeah prefernce debatable good back & forth. The aftermath of the Bigg K battle has people goin @ Ward extra i dont prefer his pen or performances but these to both had a cool GTX battle thats it.
Facts! On 2nd watch, it’s way closer than all of the hype … Still in all, I’ve got Frak 2-1 but it’s a great battle from both, and I was expecting a body after all the blogs, interviews, comments etc … GTX/RYD ftw!

I came expecting to see Ward get killed (after hearing he did), this was a close battle which Frak won. Good battle by both. I think maybe the fact Frak had 3 solid rounds and Ward has two made it seem that way. 1st was debatable but i edged it to Frak, 2nd Ward won & 3rd Frak won clear.

Damn good battle. A Ward hasn't been this good in some time. Glad to see him back. FRak is a great angler who could use work on pacing himself. His writing has improved greatly, however. Frak 2-1 (Second & third)

So I watched this jawn expecting to see Frak body Ward cause that's what everyone was saying. Frak won 2 (his round felt longer than Wards) and 3. I got Ward in the first. I don't see a body.
This was better than I expected!! Frak keep getting better n better ever time we see em! The opening bar SET THE BAR!! The Christian schemes are played out but Frak did well keeping em original and for the most part! Ward on his ⁰⁷Tunechi run right now with no time in between battles! Part of becoming top tier is how often yu performn and creating a demand! So dropping to frequently can really hinder an artist!! Unless you really him or her!
