A Way to Remember Metric System Prefixes

6th grade science teacher showed me this, and 4 years later, it's still stuck in my head.

hey king just want u to know my teacher showed us this in 5th grade and i’m now a sophomore in high school and it’s still the way i know the metric system 😌✌️✨

at 1:00 i finally got why it was saying Kids Have Dropped Bass Doing Complicated Metrics.... is that sad?? XD

This has been helping me from freshmen year to junior year in highschool. Thank you.

I am taking Chemistry this summer quarter and one of my biggest issues was remembering the metric system. Your catch tune will help me come exam time, thank you! By the way, when I was taking my EKG courses, we had to watch silly videos with catch phrases like this one. It was said the silly ones were the ones remembered most often.

Thing song is so stupid....but it finally helped me grasp the Metric system! Thank you so much! And to be able to include micro after milli, I turned it into "Kids have dropped Base doing complicated mixed mashups." I changed "metric" to "mixed" because the second letter is "i" like in "milli" to be able to tell between the two "m" prefixes. Hope that helps someone. 😅
