Extremely useful video! Not only is it gonna help be build my swipe files collection, and get better at designing, it's also helping me grasp how to use Notion which I only started dabbling with recently. Win win. Thanks a lot!
@@TheAdminBar I was not even subscribed to the channel as I'm not really doing WordPress any more. I am now because this content is just up my street and so well done. It was really easy to follow along with you and set this up. Thanks again.
Brilliant. Thank you Kyle. Love it! Was thinking of using some of my bookmarked stuff (that I keep and never look at again) to make a Swipe File. Maybe in this format, it would make more sense and be easier to refer to!
I was about to click off this video thinking this was just something not helpful. But I like this! I use Snagit and I like this method as I often see ideas I like, libraries for ReactJS or Laravel stuff, etc. Good stuff!!!!
Kyle this video was right on time! I was watching a YT vid last night on copywriting and the importance of keeping a swipe file and I was thinking of how I could do this in Notion. It's like you read my mind! I'm not sure how deep you are in the world of Notion, but I'm looking at how to create a system in Notion so an entire team can manage their client projects. I see a lot of solopreneur's setup but not a lot around teams and managing projects.
Glad it was helpful! I use Airtable for most things (instead of Notion) because it has such great automations. However, Notion has added automations, I just haven't looked at them much.
I use dropmark and it is set up exactly like this and it's even easier to add to the swipe file because they have a browser extension that you can add images or website url. It also has a free plan
Super great video Kyle! I was doing something like that just with Miro. So a giant blackboard where I was beginning to lose my compass haha. I think i defenitely will start with Notion.
@@TheAdminBar of course! I meant that Notion compared to Miro allows me to organize things better in this case. But obviously it could also be another tool. The concept of the video is clear and very useful = )
kyle, very helpful video. Many thanks. May I ask you to let me know which "screen grab tool" you are using to make those screen shots. Many thanks Klaus
@@TheAdminBar Thanks Kyle . Can I use it on both my MacBook and my iPad with one license? I also would like to congratulate you for making great videos where you explain things so well
