Hi Layefa, I don’t normally comment on videos but I really wanted to recommend this book by Joyce Meyers called the battlefield of the mind. It has really helped me understand how the enemy can attack the mind so I pray you read this and it helps on your journey. Don’t give up! ❤️

Oreva is so funny. Dear Layefa, even as Christians, we have these experiences sometimes. Do not stop praying, do not stop believing, do not stop trusting. I have been experiencing the same thing but I shall remain grounded in prayers. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. All will fall in place. He will give you peace that surpasses all human understanding, He will give you rest and complete you. You will celebrate at last. Rejoice my love. I can relate then when you are spiritually grounded sometimes you still feel down I don't think it's about growth. Sometimes you have to find this that makes you laugh. Sometimes I just cry, sometimes I put praise even when I don't feel like it. I think sometimes it's just part of life..I often find myself playing for strength to keep on going and comfort

Hmmmm Layefa, I was very broke by the start of the last week and it made me really really down. But by this weekend, Layefa God showed up in a way I could never have imagined like if someone had told me, I would be like na, you joking but God did because he is God and he always will be. It just made me realize that all God needs from us is just to put our faith in him, just believe that He can and He will. This is so relatable. I'm still learning to surrender everything in my life to God. I feel that's the only way i can keep going, without overthinking or getting distracted by the negatives, and so far it works. I'd recommend starting a plan that relates to your mental state, on the bible app, and also watching other youtubers who speak on the things you're currently experiencing.

BE STILL. Sometimes wanting be alone is a sign God wants to have intimacy work you and sometimes it is simply your body telling you to rest. Pick a period and withdraw from it and pray DEAR GOD HERE I AM.

Hi Layefa, the ending part of this vlog is very relatable to me because I'm in the same season as you. Even up until now, I still feel angry, frustrated and tired. I know the word of God but then I'm tired of the waiting season. This season is very tough on me. I remember crying and screaming at God on Thursday because it felt like he doesn't hear me or know what I want. I've been trying to talk with people just so it doesn't spread into depression. I still hate to admit that even in my present situation, God is in it. Philippians 4:4-6 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Isaiah 4:10 Isaiah 49:14-17 Jer 29:11 I hope these verses help you as much as they've been of help to me. ❤

I feel this way sometimes but I’ve learnt one way through it which is Praise. The moment I notice that feeling I starting. If I can sing literally I play high praise in background. Soak it in me and then boom the Holy Spirit steps in. You’re blessed and converted ma. Love you ma’am ❤

Layefa you have to know that God doesn’t bring sth we can’t handle our way. I feel when you feel that way talk to people so close to you to help you lift your spirit. I just want you to remember and understand that I love you so much and nothing or no one can define you and greater things are ahead of you. Don’t let one wrong make you forget the goodness of God because to me you’re a testament that God is good. I’ll always put you in my prayers but don’t forget that when the lies come speak the word, speak in tongues, thank God for what he has done.

Sometimes seasonal depression is caused by hormonal imbalance or burnouts. So its good that you took sometime off for yourself. So don't be too hard on yourself and pay attention to your emotional flactuations and listen to your body and mind. You're doing great❤❤

Layefa you are loved by God and really just have it at the back of your mind that nothing you do will make him love you more or less. At times even as Christians this feeling come and for me what worked best in those times us Thanksgiving I mean giving thanks to God not only for the good things but also for the things that seems to be going wrong and in those moments just always remember that the enemy can't do anything against you but for you.❤️

I’m just having to finish the video now and I totally understand what you mean. I struggle with feeling low sometimes too and I’ve experienced it lately and it makes me feel like I have nothing good happening in my life and I just want to lie down all day feeling sorry for myself and whispering to myself that I’m nothing, but one thing I’ve discovered that jolts me out of that State is singing praises. I’ll start singing along to gospel songs, cry, start dancing and pray. It does help me a lot and whenever I catch myself beginning to feel low, I call my name and say No, we are not letting sadness in, he that is in us is greater than he that is in the world and I start worshiping. Finding and holding unto God is indeed a beautiful journey. Lots of Love ❤

2 Corinthians 10:5 - “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” Every time you get a negative thought pop up, you could try to recite this scripture repeatedly and let it sink in. Not every thought is from yourself, some is from the devil who seeks to pollute your mind. Just recite the scripture every time your mind start to wonder in that direction and bring all those thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Praying for you ❤️🙏🏽

I just wanted to say that there's such a thing as "burn out", it most times happens after a huge level of "pouring out", and it can also be triggered by some other "thoughts". I think it's just your spirit seeking refueling, take your time, allow it, pray while at it and believe to grow out better. (The thoughts in your head would always come, but it's easier to overcome this phase when you realize this phase would always come as long as you keeping getting successful, laugh it off sis, you are not alone). You can't be totally intentional by your strength, it's a human thing mama❤. Stay on top. Love from here!!!

Sometimes your soul grieves to bring out desires or things in your heart you need to bring at the altar of God. It’s actually good to get to a place of silence, prayer is you talking but silence is waiting for God to respond. This does not mean you’re not on a “spiritual level’. This is a relationship with God not a religious ladder. Be still and know he is God!

Hello Layefa, I hope you see this. You are doing great. Don't let the devil make you lose sight of God's goodness. Our walk with God is a journey, we take steps daily to become one with God so never feel like you are not getting there. Like you said you need to saturate yourself with the Word of God, that is your shield on days you feel low. You fire back the Word of God at every negative thought. Also, the power of thanksgiving. Play a song(s) that'll make you dance like David danced. Even when you don't feel like it, play those songs or sing out loud, profess the Word of God and you'll uplift your spirit man. Speaking in tongues helps a lot too. Whenever you are at your lowest point, never isolate yourself. That is one of the devil's technique in making you lose sight of God. That is the time to make sure you do not miss church, joining a unit in church would also go a long way so you have like minded people whom you can easily reach out to or those that you can easily relate with in church. Lastly, like you said understand your triggers so you can present it to God and also be self aware. Sending so much love 💞
