you mentioned that you don't love the lopsided nature of the hobonichi near the end of the year, so i have some ~unsolicited advice~ hahaha --- the book has such good binding that you can flip some of the bulk from the front all the way around to the back to level out the surface (like for an example: imagine opening to some random page in april and spreading that out as if it were the cover of the book, and then you can open to the page you're working on in september, and now the september spread is balanced because the extra pages from the front of the book are now supporting the back part of the book) -- I hope that makes sense!
