As a fellow senior UX designer, this is accurate. There are a lot of meetings where you have to communicate your design choices and get feedback from different groups. So, it's important to be a good communicator. I also have to create blocked meetings to actually work. Sometimes it can be hard to find time to eat lunch, but I also get to work from home. I can take walks with my dog, row, or tend to my vegetable garden when I have a meeting end early or I need a break.

3 months ago, i never knew what field i want to work with as a an adult... upon taking up ui/ux course this sem on our university, and stumbling upon your vlogs, it encourages (and pushes, too) me to take ux design seriously... yet i’m a little scared bc i am not that creative when it comes to designs 🥺😭

Well I am also a product designer UX from Brazil and it is funny cause my days are also filled with meetings. Sometimes I find it a bit exhaustive, so I also have to create blocked meetings to work. I also try to block a whole day, usually on wednesday which tends to be empty. I love seeing product designers from all over the world. :)

Thank you for sharing your week as a UX Designer! it seems very busy with different kind of actions. May I ask you of all the work as a UX Designer how do you plan and perform the actual design - this wasn't obvious enough to me in the video, it seemed there have many meetings and preparation for them? I am doing a MA in UX design and trying to find the different parts of the design and divide it into time and actions, could you give direction as to how many hours it takes a day, a week or steps for the actual user research/prototype? How and what time do you spend on preparing for the meetings? Thank you very much if you read my comment and answer the questions!

Hello there, I am an Instacart shopper and I have some feedback on the app, not sure which you are designing. On the shopper app I really dislike the go offline slide button. The reason is when you are using this app as a shopper you are trying to go fast and multi task. To slide the button is just taking too long. I think the design is pretty and cool looking but from usability standpoint it just takes too long .
