You don’t feel like yourself in the USA because it’s not your home. I felt similarly when I was studying abroad. I lived in Spain for 2 years post college and while it was a great experience I never felt quite like myself. You feel most like yourself surrounded by the familiar, your family, long time friends, and familiar places. I’m sure you’ve made good friends at Yale but they don’t know you like your Aussie family and friends do. 😊

Looks like you picked a couple of good weeks to be in Perth this winter. It’s been very wet!!! Did you manage to stay healthy during your break? My kids and i have been slammed all winter with covid, several colds and gastro. And we haven’t even traveled out of Perth! Looking forward to the next vlog. :)

ik know this sounds strange but i literally make the exact same thing as you with the taco bowl, except I add crumbled up corn ships like mixed into the salad. I went to the Lume yesterday for the Van Gogh exhibition. Truly incredible. I was also at the Melbourne v Brisbane game. Devastated we went out of the finals in straight sets. Oh, well, next year (deja vu? Been saying that for a lot of seasons!)

My little life update is I finished high school on Tuesday and I’m working my ass off to save money 😊

To reduce stress 1 wake up same time daily 2 make bed 3 stretch, possible yoga 4 make list of goals for the day 5 get ready for the day 6 never skip a meal 7 stay hydrated 8 start your day 9 is stressed meditate 10 write in journal daily 11 go to bed same time every night. 12 keep room clean. This reduces stress.
