Hi there! I'm watching this a few months late but I've just got to the part where you speak about your period, and I relate SO HARD. My period also plays up when I travel, totally throws it out of wack. I either get my period early while I'm travellin - or, and this is more typical in my older years, it makes it late by 1-3 weeks. Which makes a 33 day cycle suddenly 45 days, and the luteal phase/PMS symptoms are just DRAWN out. It's terrible, I feel you, it's a total funk and once you start menstruating it's such a relief. This also happens to me with antibiotics/getting sick. Currently on a 51 day cycle because I got sick at Christmas! If your hormones are fine, have you looked into cycle syncing? Foods + activities that help you feel more in tune with each phase, and help balance it out.

I can 100% relate with the annoyance of an unusually late period. Definitely advocate for yourself and if you feel something is not normal and basic tests are coming back normal ask what the next step is.

I started reading Five Survive after I saw Rachel suggested it for y’all last week and I got half way through, but had to stop because I was getting bad dreams every night. It wouldn’t be one of soph’s vlogs without a matcha 🍵 wouldn’t blame you honestly I remember my first trying it and now it’s literally an obsession, I can’t go a whole week without having my matcha at least twice 😂it’s just sooo good when you get used to it’s taste you just do ! Sophie I’m working my way through all your vlogs🥰 and don’t know if you’re still struggling with your hormones but it you are def seek out a good nutritionist to help you do a full DUTCH test it will tell you everything you need to know about your hormones 💖 I did my cycle mapping and DUTCH tests and showed really low estrogen and messed up adrenals from high cortisol (stress) been implementing new things into my routine now and see such a big difference, was also told I have PMDD so the more you know the better you can manage and become healthiest happiest you 🥰

During the times when my period would come a week+ late but I've be having the symptoms of 'just about to get your period' the whole time, it was due to low progesterone and progesterone cream helped me become regular again, I went to a natropath to help but also a functional medicine doctor can help too
