I like your new hair color, and congratulations on starting to attend art school. Also I thought your weekly blog was much better and I enjoyed the variation of content. I knew if you stuck with it it would get better. I get overwhelmed and frustrated when trying to describe things to people sometimes and if I stick with it it gets better.

Wow! I'm so excited that you were able to manage your anxiety enough to apply to art school!!! 🎉 This is a big achievement. I'm glad that you and your social security case manager (that's the US title for this job) have developed a plan for you to try out going back to school. The great thing about plans is that if they don't work out, you can make a new plan. I look forward to finding out what's next for you! 🎉

Congratulations for planning to attend art school!❤ I know when we make changes in our lifestyle it can be a little stressful although having your talent in art should definitely help with your anxiety. Keep in mind that everyone else is probably just as anxious as you. 😊You are doing great and should be extremely proud of yourself! By the way,I love your hair! Don't be hard on yourself because you accomplish in 2 days what would take me almost a week with my severe fatigue problems. Good luck in getting accepted at art school😊!

I didn't have enough credits to graduate high school so they added up the credits wrong on purpose and told me, "If you don't say anything, we won't say anything," and I got the diploma. In the US we have a community college system where you can take remedial courses and that's what most of my comm. coll. credits were about. So I got college credit for 7th grade algebra for instance. I took geometry and fractions etc which are 3rd grade subjects. Also I didn't learn my multiplication tables until I was 23. So I took a lot of courses in order to learn very very basic academics. I had always wanted to be a good student but with the trauma, stress and 2 alcoholic parents it was all too much for me and I sank through high school instead of thriving. I wound up succeeding in my own way in the end though. Going through higher education is hard but is forward progress which is really good for you. Plus even with a high-falutin college experience, we still need to be lifelong learners anyway. One should never stop learning. Official diplomas are nice, but there is a lot to say about being self taught. So in the end IMO if one does it right, one is a lifelong self taught learner.

Congratulations for applying to art school! I live with schizoaffective disorder and also always wanted to go to college. After several years of trying to get my mental health balanced, I applied and got in! I'm currently near the tail end of my second year and I'm pretty burned out. It's been causing some psychotic flair ups so after this semester I am taking a year off to recharge. School is haaard lol. I'm really proud of you and hope your college experience is better than mine:)

Congrats! Kimberly... I know it may not help but if you have anxiety at school... In my last live RU-vid performance I had clinical bad anxiety while on stage... Yes it was an act... A big act and I just came across as friendly and said the odd odd thing... I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of anxiety goes.. (maybe not a pannick attack but anxiety) often no one even knows... This performance I thought the video would be unusable and I wouldn't play live again... But I'm glad I filmed it... It's all in my head :) if it happens again it will be just as hard I guess but your probably the only one who thinks anything is wrong... If I have anxiety at home I don't film either... But with my tour... The show must go on ha that's why I still performed.. anyway by by

I failed out of art school and music college at the University in South Carolina. They didn't want me back after that but I had a friend in the university who spoke on my behalf and I got accepted back but then I turned it down because I was happy with my food service job. It was a crappy art school but the music school was one of the best in the country. I missed out on the experience of going to music college, the friends and the concerts etc .I was really crazy at the time and could not learn the stuff though it's not difficult. I practice guitar every day now but I have taken a break from the classical music. I've gone popular though I don't like it more. I'm just satisfying my curiosity.
