Paige, I'm definitely going to start this routine because once a week moisturizing is not doing much. I believe if I do this twice a week, I would see better results. Thanks for sharing this video.
This was exactly what I wanted because I washed my hair on Sunday and I left it in twist, so I'm going to moisturize it now and follow your routine, I've already incorporated your prepoo routine, great job you're my inspiration.
This is awesome!!! 🥳🎉I'm so glad you're finding my videos helpful. Natural hair becomes so easy to take care of once you have a solid routine. I'm loving my journey 🥰
We have the same routine!!! You're the one who inspired me to begin keeping my hair in twists and I've been doing this routine for 3 months now. The only difference is I twist my hair smaller and moisturize/keep them in twists on Tuesday and Thursday. I recently added an onion juice treatment and a coconut oil prepoo to my routine on Saturday night before my Sunday wash day. Excited to stay consistent! Thanks for the tips 💕
I find that on wash day when I twist up my hair using a lot of product makes my hair last the week without touching it up. I put conditioner, twisting cream, and whipped butter. And I do flat twists I feel like it locks in the product better for some reason and if I feel like during the week I just spritz my head with water or let the steam and water droplets hit my hair in the shower.
Same!! I’m so glad you pointed that out. My hair is still moisturized after 2 weeks with flat twists or cornrows because I seal with grease. It wasn’t always that way though. Now, I’m gonna start back washing once a week because I’m getting ready to color it.
Thanks for sharing your routine💖 I love a simple hair routine. Once I master flat twisting I'm gonna give it a shot and see how your routine works on my hair.
@@GlowupwithPaige yesssssss sis. That grease is amazing! I use the Aloe and mint leave in by Aunt Jackie’s, As I am double butter, and any blue magic grease in that order, and these products really work so well for me in a protective style! I hope it does for you too☺️
Awww, thank you so much Paige for sharing this simple routine of your beautiful, healthy, shiny and dark in color natural hair. My wash day is on Monday. 😊😃 I LOOOOOVE your hair!!!! I'm definitely going to try your way, so hopefully I will see some great results! I can not wait!!! ❤😍
Same here since nat’l basic the way my mom did my hair 😉 I do grease my scalp & massage real good daily by hydrating and put bonnet on, refresh every other day that’s it ☺️. I wear turbans/scraps if go out bcuz I don’t want to take down 🤷🏾♀️. Last week of each month I’ll spray and reactivate the conditioner in hair and if hair dry I’ll add oil to massage put plastic cap w/bonnet next day wash 1st week of the month
I love the routine!! But I’m a bartender I work full time and I can only do this once ever week and I do minitwist!!! I wish I could do this twice a week
Thanks for the video. You work from home so you basically don't undo the twists or style often. What advice would you give we who have to go to work in the office daily?
Do you always work from home or just because of the pandemic? My job is hybrid right now (it's not supposed to be), and I have a similar moisture routine (although I do wash and go's). But I know when my job goes back to normal, and it's 100% in person, all hell is going to break loose 😂. I won't have time/desire to remoisturize so many times a week. I'm wondering if you have a plan on moisturizing if you're in the same work situation as me?
😂😂Hey hun I worked from home before the pandemic. But if it comes a time where I have to work outside my home, I will more than likely wear small to medium size twists and style it somehow because I won't have as much free time to do my hair like I do now. So I totally understand where you're coming from. And thank you so much 💖💖
@@GlowupwithPaige this whole working thing really craps our style 😂😂😂. We all just need to win the lottery!!! Thanks for answering my question. I fear the day when work is 5 days a week in person. My hair will suffer. I have a lot more shrinkage than you, so even though my hair is long, my twist looks like nubs. They don't look as nice and elongated like yours
😂😂😂 @ the lottery part. And I know what you mean. If I'm having a busy week I have to put my hair on hold because of all the work I have to do and plus still be a mom to my girls.
Hi Paige! I was wondering please how you do the hot oil treatment because Monday is my wash day, so I want to try it? Or how do you pre-poo? Do I do it on the same day that I wash my hair? Thank you in advance! ❤😍
I pre poo the same day as my wash day. I pre poo on dirty hair, cover with a plastic cap and allow to sit for 30 minutes then rinse, shampoo, deep condition and apply my hair cream.
@@GlowupwithPaige thank you so much my dear! I washed my hair today and I followed all of your steps and I did exactly what you did (pre poo, shampoo, deep conditioner, leave-in cream then twist) and my hair loved it and it's very bouncy right now. 😃 Also, I went to the store this morning and purchased the suave clarifying shampoo.... what a game changer? Thank you! I'm going to try to be consistent with your steps!! 😊❤😍 I need to purchase the detangle brush for my next wash. 💕
She has a lot of videos on her kids routines! I think the main difference for them is that she washes their hair every two weeks instead of every week :)
