What an incredible fishing trip with my dad to northern Manitoba. One of our goals was the Grand Slam: Northern Pike, Walleye, Arctic Grayling, and Lake Trout...all which call Gangler's home. We were based out of the North Seal Main Lodge, but flew out many days to other lakes. Thanks for following along.

I don't think some people understand how important Lodges like this are to all of us. A place like this is your ONLY option to experience a once in a lifetime fishing trip. The resources and hard work put in by all the people that keep the wheels rolling out in Northern Manitoba (and Saskatchewan) at Lodges like this is worth all the credit they get and more. Well done Jay!

I love all the videos with your dad, Jay. My dad is the one who got me into fishing at a young age, but we sadly lost him to cancer about 6 years ago. As much as I miss him, it gives me so much happiness watching you guys sharing these incredible moments. Thank you for all the hard work in bringing us these videos.

Awsome vid Jay. I really wish I could share moments and experiences like that with my father. I take my son everywhere with me trying to make a relationship with him I never had. My father wasn't a bad father just worked all the time and had different interests I guess. I hope my son carries my passion for the outdoors to his children and can share with them what I share with him. Our fathers shape the men we become more then they get credit for. Your dad seems like an amazing father.

Thanks for showing how beautiful Manitoba really is. I think we get a bad rap because Winnipeg's a little bit ghetto, the most commonly traveled areas are also the most boring, and our winters are rough. But hidden away down dirt roads, or fly in zones away from civilization Manitoba is gorgeous.

I caught my first and only pike that’s a trophy in Ontario back in 2018 it was 42” and the crazy thing was, rod wasn’t in my hand I was paddling with my dad in sre canoe and I’m looking at my bluefox perch coloured spoon flipping on the top maybe 6” away from the canoe and I see this pike head mouth wide open come and hit the spoon top water and it scared me and my dad so much I caught it after like a 20 minute fight and we where only 100 yards off the bank from the boat ramp, most crazy fishing experience I’ve ever had in my life this big gator hit a spoon top water 6” away from are canoe, we got hooked bad in the gills so we ended up having to keep it, so we looked in the stomach like u should always do to see what there eating on and it was empty so we think it was so hungry that it ate my spoon that close to the canoe like imagine being a 42” pike maybe 24-25 pounds and not have a single peace or food in you so ya that’s my crazy epic pb fish of my life so far after that it’s my 36” muskie I caught back in October of this year, on a chatter bait with a perch coloured swim bait trailer hit it right away in opening of a weed line also this lake is one of the best for muskie in souther Ontario pigeon lake I really recommend it has everything except lake trout I think never caught one tbh there but I’ve caught lots of 5-8 pound bass larger and smallie, walleye , crappie, muskie, and big carp fish
