Hey Andy, I'm not one to normally leave comments. came across your mitzpe ramon absolutely loved it, was a surprise to see you've not been doing this too long and have under 1K subs. Keep it up the quality of filming is superb and you have a unique presence!
Oh my goodness- so much info! I really loved this!! Storytelling was great, pace was awesome- can’t wait for the next part! Tel Aviv tourism needs you!! Lol 😆 Also, now I just want Jaffa cakes! Lol 😂 awesome work Andy 💪
Jaffa Port is where the final battle of the 3rd crusade between Richard the lionheart and Salladdin took place in 1192. A BIG piece of history right there. By the way - most Brits don`t realise that their grandads served in Israel during the British mandate.
That's amazing information, love that, thanks for sharing. Well for me it might have been my great grandad, I believe the ottoman's held it for a while. I go into this about the British mandate in the Jerusalem episode. Thanks for watching.
Welcome, I'm jealous mate, sounds like an amazing trip although I have yet to visit Jordan. I have a few more Israel videos on my channel hopefully they will give you some tips and ideas. Thanks for watching.
Oh waw thank you so much, I remember you! I think I met you and your wife in the harbour just as I finished talking to the camera. That's amazing and has made my day :)
Umm it’s actually not the Mediterranean capital, Jerusalem holds that spot! However Tel Aviv is a fun and exciting city where everyone is beautiful and the sea calls you by name!
Let me rephrase, Tel Aviv is Israel’s cultural and commercial capital. Named “The Mediterranean Capital of Cool” Jerusalem is the capital of Israel but it is not on the Mediterranean it is located around an hour inland. Apologies as I didn't make that clear in the video. 🤭
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I found that most people I met had a very clear accent, sound a lot like west coast American accent if you know what I mean, they understood me just fine. :)
I later moved on to Jerusalem which will be next Mondays episode, here it was a slightly different situation as there are so many different cultures but still I had no problem.
I think your math might be off a bit. 4,000 years of history and culture, and the arabs have been in the levant for what maybe 1,000 while arabs were still waiting to become muslims ,jews had already been there for thousands of years.
@@Shodyalghamdy You know there were jews in all the arab countries before there were muslims right? You know iraqi food is from iraq not islam, you know there are iraqi jews right? Just like all the other arab countries, thousands of years before islam and mohhammed. Syrian food is syrian not muslim, Kosher and Halal whats the difference? Besides that kosher came thousands of years before. Your argument is absolutely idiotic but yea blame the jews for stealing falafel and shwarma hahah
