I 100% believe those signs to be real and true. My brother Trey died by suicide on July 1, 2013. This year on July 1st, I was visiting my Mother in CA along with my sisters, nieces and nephews. Coincidentally, at the last minute, my teenage nephew brought along his good friend "Trae" to stay with us. We got to know Trae and learned he too is a talented artist (like my brother was). Although Trae had never met my brother and did not know the story of his life and death, he brought such joy to my family and I in getting to hear about his passion for art and sharing pieces with him that my own brother created during his short lifetime. I have no doubt my brother had something to do with that experience and was likely smiling down on us as we shared with our children and new friend the stories of their awesome, talented and goofy uncle.

For eggs I do put them in cold water and then turn oven on high. When a rolling boil starts I leave it on and let them boil for about 8-10 minutes. Then cool in ice - so it's a little faster!

Wait till the water boils. Use a spoon to put them in the water gently. Leave for 6 min in boiling water. 7 min if you want them to be harder. When time is up, take them out. Put in cold water for a moment to peel easily.

And we back... My mom died 2 years ago this month and I find myself doing this all the time. I totally have 10 minute breakdowns after thinking about something that should be a happy memory. I look for signs everywhere. I talk to her when I'm alone. I read tarot and freak myself out with its accuracy. I don't even care if it's not real. Or if it's just the subconscious or catharsis or whatever. Imagine going through life without a little bit of whimsey. A little hope and possibility. Almost as sad as losing someone you loved...

I feel like that was A LOT for boiling some eggs...those instructions were nuts lmao. I usually just boil em for 10 minutes and rinse them in cold water. Also love that this vlog is a year old. You're the best, actually.

Great to see an upload!! About the oily fingers - have you thought of putting a cute sign that says something along the lines of "Feel free to sample but these oils transfer onto other surfaces" and providing wet wipes or something near the display?? PS. Your boiled eggs are a disaster haha - they aren't as complicated as that recipe made them: 1. Put eggs in pot 2. Fill pot with water 3. Set burner to highest heat and bring to a boil (without a lid) 4. When water reaches a full boil, turn off burner, and let sit for 5-10min 5. Get a colander/strainer and (using a ladel) place eggs into strainer 6. Fill pot with ice cold water (no need for actual ice unless your tap doesn't produce super cold water) 7. Sit strainer in pot so that eggs are covered with water for 20min and done (Optional) If you add baking soda while cooking peeling the egg might be easier.

Whenever you talk about your brother it's so touching. I usually watch RU-vid as a stupid escape and watch random stuff but I love that you share real raw moments and it's a reminder to me that life is so precious and to cherish one another.
