@@tumiretimberlake5225 it’s not that hard to get but it depends on the type of nursing school you are applying to. I would suggest trying to get As & Bs on your prerequisites to have a better chance 💕💕
Hey girl ! I love you videos . When looking at hospitals, search your cities trauma level hospitals because you will get the highest acuity at a trauma level I hospital and based off what you’re saying, stay away from trauma level III or non designated trauma centers. Good luck girl !
Heyyy girl, crazy part is that hospital was a level 1 trauma center but I was in the surgical ICU so idk why the acuity was so low 😂😂 and the hospital I work at now is not a level 1 but we still get a really high acuity in our MED-SURG ICU so idk but that’s why I like shadowing to really see lol thanks girl for watching !! 🤍
@@Nursedezi8 Well actually, the trauma level designation is actually regarding the teams involved at the hospital so what I’ve been doing is looking at different hospital websites to see what procedures and treatments they offer. So like even though my hospital is trauma level I, we don’t do ecmo so I research hospitals that do. We barley get ballon pumps either which are things I want to be proficient in and so those hospitals that offer those will be my first choice.
@@kaniahstanford8575 yass exactly! my hospital I’m at specializes in ECMO , CRRT, organ transplants etc. I’m definitely going to start looking at that more because some of these level 1 trauma center are not as Critical as I thought 😂😂
