i dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
I actually found your channel a while ago, as I was looking to get some insight into Project Management! I LOVE that you share all the things you’re doing! That’s so real and authentic to me and probably a lot of women. We have so many different goals, from maintaining a clean home to building generational wealth, and trying to look snatched while doing it lol! All that to say, I’m here for the ride, keep sharing all the things, because it’s your journey and we’re here for it!
PM here! Looking to shift more towards PgM, but I'm planning to get certified this year. A PM series would be dope for some of us looking to go down that path with tips and tricks!❤️
@@KristynAlexis Thank you. I know you are a busy gal but I would love the opportunity to invite you to a coffee Zoom and pick your brain about your expertise. garmonkrystal@gmail.com
@@krystalgarmon1421 I just launched my membership for this purpose. I believe you have to be on the computer to subscribe but we will have monthly zooms and access to a chat where we can also talk if you’re interested.
I rec’d my PMP at the end of 2020 & your videos were definitely a motivating factor. Even though I’m a Quality Manager, I find your PM content to be relatable. Thank you for always providing positive & inspirational content!
I’ve notice a lot of RU-vidrs and regular everyday people are calling in INTERIOR DESIGNERS for their homes. It not only gives you a new surprised look, but it also can make you fall in love with the home you currently have. They can either use the things you pick out or they can pick up things for your home.
🌟🌟🌟 the a cardigan and my blue light glasses always makes me feel more professional. Especially for meetings when I don’t feel like putting on makeup lol
This video was for me 🥰. I work closely with Project Managers in restoration, but they are out in the fields and I’m in office doing corporate things, I’m just not a PM. I was offered a PM position but I don’t want to do restoration. I didn’t know certification was a thing for Corp PMs, and I’ve never been able to find a career that stuck out to me until this one. Your video is really confirmation and has motivated me to research more about the industry of Corp PM. Thank you so much 💖
@@KristynAlexis It definitely was! I want to include that the PMs with my company do demolition and hands on work. I’m interested in the mental side more than physical. I may be reaching out to you with questions. I’m catching up on some of your old videos on it as well because I’m a semi new Kstar 🌟
Currently in process of getting my pmp cert. This isn't easy. I actually already work in global project management as a team manager, but I had never worked pm before taking this role, so I thought getting extra education couldn't hurt. I am glad I don't do pm work as I wouldn't want to deal with our clients but I love managing people!
I luv ur channel. With ur living room u can put the TV over the fireplace and get rid of the TV stand. Put the couch and one side of the fireplace and put the stairs on the opposite side of the fireplace(parallel)
What a timely video. I quit my job this week to pursue project management. I've been going through your old PM videos all week for more information. I learned what project management was 6 months ago and realized that's what I've been doing for almost 5 years for pennies 😑😡🤬 🙃. I believe I'm a natural project manager. Here's to happy unemployment until i find something new and pass my PMP exam. Also great information about the business strategy concentration. I've been looking for careers paths and degrees to fit my personality type. I'm a big picture person. Will look into that. So many gems in this video. Thank you 😇😇🥰
Good luck with your certification and new pathway! You got this and if you ever have questions feel free to email me. I’ll do my best to help if I can. ❤️⭐️
Hi Beautiful Kristyn love this Fascinating Vlog of the week about your job and life really was dooe and always informative and watching you prepare dinner so hospitable and loved everything ❤and enjoyed the channel and have a great rest of your week Beautiful and much love 💘and have a wonderful week sweetie 😊and be safe and Blessings and keep up the great work and God Bless and stay safe my dear ❤❤💖🤩🤗😘🥰🥳🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸💞💕❤💖💖
After all the priceless gems you shared about PM and your career journey - Time stamp 8:45 - I find it adorable the clip with Crixus (hope I spelled right) & Lola all booed up 🐶❤ 🤣😂
I've watched several of your PM videos and I love how informative and realistic they are. Do you have any insight on how I can get connected with other project managers?
Thank you love. One idea… The PMI institute has events and chapters for connecting with other PMs locally. I think that’s one way to connect with others. I hope this helps ❤️
I'm working to get funding to do my project management degree...I love it I want to work in the field. Its difficult as my current manager doesn't support me or better yet has negative things to say about my talents. Oh well that's life. I need to keep pushing and ensure I achieve my dreams.
That’s the kind of management...that active discriminatory behavior that sometimes in a twisted way has a gift because the anger can push you beyond what you thought you could do
One of the chairs would look good Caty corner where the tv stand is also. I had the same set almost. And it def is a challenge but you have a pretty big space. Move it a few times and you’ll find it.
🌟🌟🌟Hey Kristyn! Enjoyed the video. I first discovered your channel a while ago when I was searching information about project management. Your content is great, and I really appreciate the insights you share from your experiences in PM. I'm working toward my PMP certification and hearing the perspectives of others in the role is helpful.
That PEMBOK was not my friend😂. I completed the course, but never took the test for certification, strictly out of fear. I’ve really been considering trying the class again.
I need to see if classes are offered on Coursera. My job is paying for us to take classes that will help us excel in our current position. And we are moving from Cerner to Epic
Oh wow cerner is OLD!!! When I worked in the hospital we migrated from cerner to epic back in 2010. We called it the epic fail at first lol. As with all things it took time to adjust and see the benefits.
⭐ Dropping my star #KSTARS. I'm an information technology project manager and it is an exciting role because you're constantly learning as you complete projects. What methodology do you use at your job? I use the agile methodology when managing my projects. Do you use Rally, Jira or Azure DevOps to manage user stories? I used to use Rally and we just migrated to Azure DevOps for my user stories. I'm glad your sharing your home improvements with us.
⭐ Hey hey hey!!! Definitely enjoyed the Project Management overview, since it is something I've thought about for some time. On average, how many projects to you manage at a time? I'm a pretty organized person but that is one thing I get concerned about; managing too many project and starting to get them confused 🤪 I've also noticed the change in your attire to fit the image you want to project.👍🏽
Thank you and I typically manage 1 large project and have smaller projects I am a stakeholder on meaning I help with deliverables but I don’t manage the tracking and reporting. ⭐️❤️
Hi Kristy, I graduated last year with a concentration in project management. I started a new job where I work with project managers, but that’s it. I want to ask them for advice on how I can make my way to their department. Do you think that’s a good idea? Right now I’m at the very bottom of the company trying to find my way up.
Yeah we did consider it but was actually discouraged from doing it because our fireplace gets very hot and with wiring could pose a fire hazard. Also, I suffer from chronic neck pain and it’s just a pinch higher than is advised from that perspective. I think I may bring it off the wall tho because after looking at Pinterest the table seems like the second best place to place the tv.
I am not familiar with PMLG so I can’t unfortunately compare but I am PMI certified and it was recommended for us because of how broadly recognized they are.
Thank you I love this video. I am a project coordinator and my company will be paying for me to do my Prince2 course soon. Hopefully, I will get through my course and gain my certificate. Do you get the chance to resit if you fail? I have been told the exam for PM is really tough.
@@KristynAlexis Thank you! Have a goodnight as well and I enjoy all your videos. I'm looking foward to the barbecuing again when the weather warms up. :)
Technically no “It's a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result. A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time, and therefore defined scope and resources.” This is the PMI definition.
