I wish I had known you were in the area.... there is so much to see in YNP.... My grandfather used to take covered wagons through the park with a team of horses.... I used to sit with my grandfather and he would tell me the stories of going through the park back in the early 1900's ... I could show you so many sights in and around the park..... You would have enough content for a month or more....

Yellowstone seems to be very beautiful. Just the fact that there are so many animals running around. And the bears were definitely the highlight! Thank you so much for sharing with us. I clearly want to visit Yellowstone too.

I visited Yellowstone in the late 90s. It is a beautiful place

First time I've seen the RV pull the pickup, Your slowly progressing into the easy traveler, working it out. One day I hope to get to Yellowstone, until then, your videos will have to do. You always do such a great job. Millie didn't walk too funny with the plastic bag boots, good girl. Ma and Pa seeing the sights with you, you have a great family.

Love the idea of films by the campfire I remember 20 years ago, running an LCD screen and watching videos out of the back of my four-wheel-drive whilst having dinner all good fun. I went to Yellowstone once. I went in Summer, which was the wrong decision, so people were being awful and throwing things in the pools... Plus Yellowstone just smells like a fart everywhere because of the sulfur. Glad you had fun!

Nice to meet your parents! And you bring back some good memories of my own trip to Yellowstone, way back in 1991! Lots of Bison back then too, and elk, and I saw Old Faithful, though I was not as impressed as many seem to be (never have SO MANY gone SO FAR to see so little!) My outstanding memory is of a group of Japanene teens who were being guided on a steep trail-hike; one young woman wore fashion-boots with 6-inch spikes for heels ... needless to say, she did not handle the hike well!

Great video. I never really knew about the "super volcano" thing until now. I find it beyond amazing to think that as OLD as the earth is, it is still hot enough deep inside to cause this phenomenon that we observe on the surface. Amazing. I still love Millie's booties! I laugh every time I see this. What a wonderful dog! 😂 For someone who really doesn't like the cold and snow, you seem to have done a pretty good job of finding it since leaving southern Arizona. 😂

I am amazed that there is still snow in Yellowstone Park; but we had snow earlier this week in Saskatchewan, though it melted quickly, so I guess it makes sense that there would be snow there, too!

The Yellowstone volcano is acshully a collapsed caldera volcano. It was a HUGE of volcano that erupt and then did collapse ined on its self. Because it is so very large it is called a super volcano. It is very much still active and that is what does caused the geysers as liked Old Faithful. Water does filter down in crevices and when it does get close to the magma (lava) chambers it heats up to steam and blows its top with super hot steam. If ever you fall off a platform into the water you will get cooked instantly. If I remember it right they used to haved raised wooded platforms you could walk across so you could look down into those pools until a little kid fell into the pool and was instantly boiled and dead. Then they closed thosed platform trails. Too bad too because the pools had lots of interesting stuff in them. Also I think the last time it really erupted was about 70,000 years ago but that was just a big lava flow eruption, but the last really big one, a really explosive one happened about 650,000 to 700,000 years ago and if it happens again you can expect about 240 CUBIC MILES of materials to get ejected from it!!! From past explosive eruptions they have found meters and meters of ash dumped on the north Rocky Mountains and the graduated downward to a few millimeters to a couple inches on to where New York City is! - AND IT MAY BE COMING FOR YOU DUDE! The have had lakes get tilted upwards on one sides and send waters out of the lake, also they have found whole herds of animals dead around some lakes where poison gases came up through the water and stayed in low laying places and when animal came into those places they died. Elk, deer and Bison. Enjoy you stay there 😅😮 But you will not starve if it erupted again. You might get par broiled but Probly not starved.

Omg... lmao!! Eaten by a Bison?! lol Not likely... One charged at our Town Car in 1996, Summer and missed us by a couple inches! But we stood with them all day and all they did was eat grass. Jeff was going to pet one but it kept walking away.

Oh you got to see mama 399, lucky you! If you're looking for fun things to do, consider riding the tram in Teton Village to the top of the mountain. Not cheep but worth it. The views are spectacular. Bring a picnic lunch, warm clothes and explore the mtn top!
