A wet drive through Birmingham

This is a basic test of my car camera mount, driving through the centre of Birmingham, England.
There was minimal editing on this, the actual footage isn't changed apart from fading in.
Points of note and other tid bits are shown on screen throughout. Background music is by Cardboardbox. I managed to get the music and video track to merge just beautifully!
I'm still new to filmmaking and editing so I hope this is okay.

I was Born In Erdington, went to school in Great Barr and lived in Aldridge....I still follow the Villa from afar. Thanks for the tour and comments.... I now live on Phillip Island (180 klm south east of Melbourne) home to koalas and penguins .A far cry from Brum!!!!.....But you never forget where you are from and those many chilhood memories do you? Thank again for the ride........

Great video. The last time i was in Birmingham was in July 1971, sure has changed. I live in Canada but i was there chaseing after a girl friend i met in Canada. Great music too, it matches the vid perfectly.

I've been driving around Birmingham for over 40 years and I never tire of it. Great video....rain an' all. Did you notice how far you drove without having to stop? What a town!!

Could you please do another trip or two around Birmingham? I've been stuck in the United States for 20 some years and dont get to visit much. I miss the town terribly and it brought such a smile to see how the city is growing and changing. THanks for posting this video!

Please do answer me. Actually I enjoy gry, wet and cool weather. Please tell me what attractions there are for tourist in Birmingham. Is there a 'coffee house, Open Microphone' scene? Why would Londoners recommend Birmingham? Being from L.A.Cali did notice you didn't have to stop too often. The '405' carraige way in West Los Angeles is useless!

do visit london but don't expect to be goign anywhere near as fast as any of the cars in the video ... london's a permanent traffic jam.

I cam't help myself from not saying this but how come you are'nt playing some Led Zepplin or even Judas Priest. I mean its Birmingham! All the rock legends came from here. Does anyone from Birmingham listen to some actual realistic music anymore. Or is it all about the new crap!
