A local ITV Telethon 1988 promo followed by an incredible Jenny Ogwen hairdo in-vision link from Thames, leading into to Children's ITV from Central in Birmingham.
The complete afternoon is featured including Rainbow, the UK version of The Moomins, viewer-access show Who's Next, Inspector Gadget and Bellamy's Bugle. Wrapped up with the evening's promo from Thames.
CITV hosts are Gary Terrza and Debbie Shaw.

Now, if I'm correct, Garry Terzza, went on to do continuity announcing for channel 4, so ended up introducing inspector gadget on there as well

I bet those two presenters really hated each other and hated the fact they were on citv and not on the bill or something. You don't pick up on stuff like this when you're a kid but watching as an adult you see how half arsed and bitter they are. 😂

Do you have intro or episodes for 80's kids show-Erasmus Microman-Last time I saw anything on Erasmus Microman was on a programme on ITV called: You Saw Them Here First back in 2014 with actor Nick Pickard talking about his career-There was an intro + an episode of it on youtube like 7 years ago but then got taken down due to copyright

@@xyzzy3000 Why is it not just rare but incredibly rare of the intro and eps for -Erasmus Microman, When it has been mentioned on TV programmes like I mentioned and there were clips on RU-vid years ago I have a couple of episodes on VHS and some of my mates do-So very confused by your comment

They sure chopped up the "Inspector Gadget" front titles. If not for the credits, it looked like they didn't want the kids to sing along with the theme. I assume that it was pretty much ITV policy to not run the U.S. vanity cards and outside of CITV to replace them with the "A _______ Presentation" slides.

In the case of Inspector Gadget, it was probably just to save time. The old version of the TV ARK web site had a clip from a 1986 CITV broadcast of the series where the full intro was shown.

97channel The first series was repeated as 26x25 minute episodes going up against EastEnders on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with the language and scenes of a sexual or violent nature toned down for the pre-watershed audience. You're right, it was butchered as the edited episodes missed out key scenes and a lot of the humour. After a few weeks, Thames and Television South ended up Breaking Away (see what I did there?) from the rest of the network and showed the unaltered 50 minute episodes on Monday nights.
