That first lake looked awesome for bank fishing. The second one, your comment about the ticks and chiggers was exactly what I was thinking. It produced a fantastic fish though. Bone is my go to color.
Lol. Yeah the ticks and chiggers love us bank anglers. Stores around here had a very limited selection of plopper colors this season. The yellow and perch were the only ones on the shelf
I’m right there with you on the treble hooks, Doc! More trouble than they are worth sometimes. Those plopper hooks are insanely sharp. Awesome top water attacks, though. This was cool!👍🐟
A lot of really great top water action. You do much better than I do with the whopper plopper. I'm still in the hate it stage. You're getting pretty good at that lure retrieval.
