I like this unit!! If the hair was brushed out and not wet down it may match a little better with the edges. But kinky edges and kinky curly or kinky straight looks better together. Or if they had this unit kinky wavy pattern as it is but keep the hair curly clear to the roots and not straight then curly.
Yea even brushed out, I wouldn’t have liked it mostly cause the hair looks similar to water wave and it’s also silkier than the edges, a kinky texture definitely would’ve been better
