The first time I saw that card in RTR I had the exact same reaction, but the card was a house in that format and I'm happy to see it's still a house today.
If you dont have flying attackers tho attacking in is kind of a tough decision then becauwe they could just "sac" it on blocks sometimes. That what i faced on my pre release game
I drafted 5 in a deck in the Ravnica block one time. It was always fun to put one on an unleashed thrill-kill assassin. Turning it into a 0/1 that couldn't block. Ggs.
Bargain only can sacrifice artifacts, enchantments and tokens; I don't believe it would be the reason to rate pacifism lower as stated because the usual target cannot be bargained away.
P1, pick 3 Dream Spoilers seems very loose with Gadwick's First Duel and Stonesplitter Bolt in the pack? Let me after that statement go on to see you beat up everyone with UB faeries :D
People still mentally think you can sacrifice any creature to Bargain and not just tokens. I think he was evaluating it with that mistaken reading in mind. I've seen a lot of people make that mistake.
They are worse because more creatures are being printed with enter the battlefield effects, meaning your opponent already got some value from the card. Also with adventure spells this is another form of getting value and not trading one for one in terms of card advantage. Finally, many pacifism effects don't shut off triggered or activated abilities.
