I put him at top 6 high end and bottom 6 low end. He's an NHLer through and through and it's just taking a little more time to get his positioning sound because of his size and speed.
@@MajorCanada19 years old. He got the same progression of major talent in the NHL. He's not a generational player but he's a elite talent. He's a great forchecker and he fit perfectly on the first line.
I was lucky enough to be at the Bell Center last night and what a game! And the crowd was really into it, cheering, doing the wave, singing olé olé, screaming go Habs go and screaming for blood during the many fights! I was losing my voice by the end, especially with Gignac 1st NHL goal.
I've only been to two games the past two seasons but I am officially Slaf's good luck charm. I saw him score his 1st NHL goal last year .....and then last night he had his first 3 point game.
Gudas wandered off the set of “Lord of the Rings,” lost his axe, and hasn’t been the same since. My favourite moment of the game was Arbie’s hit mid-ice that set up the Guhle-Gignac 2 on 0. Hitting ain’t optional.
I’m a bruins fan.. I fucking hate the Canadiens… but I love your content 😂❤ I wish Boston had someone like you so I didn’t have to feel like a traitor for watching Habs content on RU-vid
Was gonna hold off for another few years on which Habs jersey to get but I ordered a Slafgoatsky jersey on the spot last night. This kid is my favourite hab right now and shame on the people that really thought Shane “bust” Wright was going to be better
I'm glad that you're feeling better Junkie! I felt helpless when I saw no video from you after last week-end's fiasco... Though those two games were so different. Just so you know, it has become a ritual for me after watching each game : check on Junkie's page what he says about it! I watch in replay from France, so most of the time it's already out. But always keep on having fun doing this, you're right on your remarks AND so funny !! Thank you :) Oh and yeah this game was insane. First line is a machine, so good to see guys playing their best hockey thanks to good synergy and talent. I wish the other lines could stay stable for a while and build that too. [I am soooo upset and sorry for Harvey-Bedard btw! Was just back for X sake ! ] But of course I'm on the tank train. Let's have them play amazingly, and still loosing games. That's learning too ;)
People, be aware that at the age of 18, Juraj left home to live almost halfway across the globe from his family to a city where he did not know the main language, had no home or friends, and overnight became a rock star from whom almost everyone expects miracles. He had to get used not only to a smaller ice rink and a different style of hockey, but also to the fact that tickets for his events were bought by people who expected a local rock star who they know everything about, and he has a concert 2-3 times a week and every time he has to give a satisfactory experience, that's a lot of pressure, I personally wanted him to go to a team where he would have space to grow, but maybe it's a good thing in that even if he didn't score, he wanted to be a contribution to the team and learned to better use different aspects of his game, such as defense, taking the puck, playing with his body... he can still improve in his positional play when defending, where he sometimes covers the space that is already covered by his teammate and does not try to take the puck away from the opponent. he has already shown that he is talented in many things, but for me it is much more important that he showed himself as a training worker with a great desire to constantly improve. he loves this game. Habs fans, if you have him there, support him ❤under all conditions, otherwise you are going against your club
Very solid game on a Dog Day Tuesday night in February vs a very very very bad team Slafkovsky 92nd NHL GAME - 8 short of 100 and he is starting… just starting to look like a # 1 overall pick Suzuki is awesome and on fire…continue like this and is 35 goals possible???? Lost ground in the tank a thon
I want know what you thinks about gignac for is 4 game with the habs? Personally, i thinks we needed somebody with his speed and a bonus i like if because he played for my local lhjmq teams😊
I like the size of that blue line a lot. And if Savard leaves then Mailloux can come in. Reinbacher for Kova in a couple years maybe. We have options. Harris and Barron I don’t know. Probably traded. Hutson alternates with our guys on the left side for a season or 2 while we figure stuff out.
I had to run after 1st and it felt like it could end up 5-0 ducks. Felt like not getting one in the first could have killed the habs. Awesome composure to keep pounding away
Slaf is out of control these days.. I honestly thought he'd end up being another KK but he's rapidly turning into my new favorite player on the team. He's a decent skater with good hands a nice shot decent playmaker with long reach in a gigantic format. Near impossible to not like that kid right now loll I thought he might be a little too overconfident when he said he could fill the hole on the 1st line with Suzy and Cole but right now he's proving it big time. Was it 19 points in the last 22 games? He's 19yo what is he going to look like at 24-25?! 🤯
Most points assists goals and games played in the NHL from the 2022 draft class. If thats what he keeps on doing for the next 20 years even if hes not a superstar hes still the best player in the draft and should be #1
You know what, I'm 5-10 and 3/4, that's right, I'm fighting for every inch... so I've always backed the undersize players... But god jesus do I love the increased size of our boys. More BIG!
Hey Junkie, Is it worth piecing together a Slaf video, highlighting hi progression from last season up to the present barnstorming??!! There, my work is done. Nice video by the way. Wicked save by Allen.
Great game but remember the Habs were playing the Ducks. Slaf is on a tear but keep in mind everyone said Caufield would put up 50. So let's not pretend he is better than McDavid.
Xhekaj was playing "Duck Hunt" last night. All that was missing was that annoying fucking dog!😉👉 I'm also surprised that Allen caught the puck. Imagine if he did drop it?
Guys, let's be honest. It was the ducks. They suck ass rn. While saying that, slaf's development is looking good, but I dont think we can be that satisfied with the team. When they beat the rangers, then yeah absolutely we can be proud of them. But against the ducks it should be customary
Why has Cole stopped going top cheese? Goalies can’t even see his shot. Just shoot it top corner. I don’t care what they’re telling him. Just score goals the way you know how.
Where are all the ‘we shouldve picked Cooley’ bozos now? Anyone with a hockey brain knew Slaf had the potential, was just missing confidence. Look at the guy with confidence now.
We also needed to be patient with him power forwards usually take longer to develop and pair that with his confidence he’s showing us why kent picked him 1st overall
