Thank you for your comment! The game has beautiful graphics but unfortunately it suffers from lack of play testing and any kind of quality control. Unacceptable really, considering the price. The project leader and publisher should be ashamed. Jan Horinek is working with L&L on completely new rules however. Version 3.0. It will not be "Advanced rules" but a complete rewrite. Let's hope that this game actually becomes playable, because it does have great potential.

Let's wait and see, then... I agree that, in its current state, the game is absolutely not worth it (even if turning a blind eye on the incredible map spelling errors...). At all events, I normally prefer games that put one in the losing side's shoes, as that means a higher sense of accomplishment when managing to win/survive ("The Hunters" anyone? Or also its even more brutal brother, "The Hunted", which I hope you'll play someday). However, as far as WW2 solitaire aviation games go: did you ever hear about "Skies over the Reich"? I believe you might have lots of fun with it (and I also think that it would be a great addition to your channel).

@@micheleb1421 I completely agree in all points. I love hard games myself. But this is just unbearable. Absolutely nothing happens and the chances of actually bombing something is almost impossible. Skies above the Reich looks very nice! But i think I'll get interceptor ace next... I live narrative games

Interceptor Ace (or Nightfighter Ace, for that matter) seems to be another good choice - looking forward to watching the LPs on your channel!

It's what this one was based on. It's called B-17 Squadron. Much more streamIined and coherent I believe LnL bought the rights to publish it, though I may be wrong. Take a look at Berserker Games site, they have some great solitaire games and inexpensive PnP. They are famed for Aces of Valor, a terrific WWI air combat reconstruction. Excellent support too, the designer updates often.

I'd recommend getting 8th Air Force instead! I know Jan Horinek is working on updated rules for this one, and it seems like they make it much better

Thank you very much Sir. You're welcome! A fellow named Jan Horinek is working on a completely rewrite of the rules. They might even be printed and released with new versions of the game, if there is enough orders. Haha yes indeed it does! Actually the camera itself is a very powerful camera, it's the camera of the OnePlus 6T. But the software is completely horrendous and makes it bug out alot. I changed from the original software to the "open camera" app and it works alot better. But when it's time to buy a new phone I'm not getting a OnePlus again.. I'll get what ever suits filming board games the best 😁

@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel I disagree somewhat with your review...I have played the game and I think it gives very realistic results. I am looking more for a simulation than a game. So I don't really have the same issues you do with the game...actually I like the game a lot....some people like apples, some people don't. :)

@@lonl123 oh I can respect that. I don't really see these videos as reviews, it's just me playing the game and while doing do, sharing my personal opinions/feelings which are highly subjective in nature. They are in no way facts. Just like you say, we have different taste and that is all right ☺️

Yes, Sir! That's a "Folded Space: Dice Tower". It cost me about 9$. I had a wooden dice tower before but headphone users complained about the noice so I switch to this, which seem to make less noise.

@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel Yeah it seemed really quite on the video. trying to find a similar company as Folded Space in the US. I use a lot of foam board for a massive (1000+) collection of WoG, BRS, Cruel Seas, etc. miniatures. With those, I use white shipping boxes and create labels for the group/types of planes and use foam board for the dividers. I have around 5 dice towers now and have tried the felt method, but TBH I never thought of using foam board for a quite version. Awesome, thanks for the response!

Not if it's not a theme which is highly interesting to you and you enjoy games where you just chuck dice and can't control the outcome. I mean don't get me wrong, I love narrative games. The hunters is my favorite game. But even in the Hunters there are enough meaningful choices to make you feel like you are in control. This game just felt like chucking dice and doing what the charts told you.

Fair enough. It's a shame that such a pretty looking game got wasted by so much die chucking and little input by the human player 🤔
