The first sail of the year, a weekend cruise to Poulsbo. The boat is an Atkin designed Ingrid Ketch. It was a chilly winter sail, but almost no rain which is as good as it gets for February in Seattle!
A bit trivial but loved the coffee cup hooks. Reminded me of my Grandma's farm house in Northern WI growing up. She did the same with her coffee cups in the pantry. I was so little then..hard to reach putting them away..stood on a chair when I was "wiping dishes". I was 6 or 7 years old..now 67..haha. Thanks for that great memory.

They are so beautiful. It seems the popularity of wooden vessels is rising agin. I hope it continues watching them made reconditioned and sailed is absolutely magical. I would drop everything and climb aboard tomorrow if the wife wasn’t deathly afraid of the open ocean. I sneak out on the water every chance I get though.

You have me as a new subscriber. I'm a pro carpenter in the UK, would love a big wooden boat but timber and workshop space is eye wateringly expensive here. So i make do with a little 1960s fiberglass sloop. Love your boat though!
