Everything is coming along nicely. So sorry that you both you and Ben have been under the weather. Wishing well in the new year and beyond. Enjoy those moments both big and small! I enjoy nature. Last night I had a run in with a deer and we had a staring contest and I talked to her and she didn't feel threatened by me because she went back to grazing. It made my evening!

Hi Linda, hope you and Ben "Get Well Soon". I just saw a youtube on healthcare you can do for the flu: 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to 8 oz of water, you can add Cranberry juice (must say on bottle Not From Concentrate) teaspoon, and adding 1 teaspoon of Lemon juice. Dr Berg explains it. Also apple pectin soothes sore throats. Hope this helps! BTW the Woods are absolutely beautiful and the reno is coming along well. Very concerned about the water issue which can lead to mold/health issues as well as major structural issues. One thing leads to another...

🤧 This was a quarantine Christmas for me too, Linda. I caught a "cold" Christmas shopping on Dec 13th. I managed to drag myself to get groceries on the 28th, which required a 2-day recuperation period. I'm thankful to feel well enough to enjoy chocolate dipped strawberries this New Year's Eve. Happy New Year Linda. 🥳 Hope Ben bounces back fast. You have a lot to look forward to in the new year. May we all enjoy a healthy 2023.

We were about 2 1/2 months ,5 years ago for installing our French Country kitchen 12’ x 21 “. Good luck,we lived in our formal dinning room for meals.

So sorry you have come down with an upper respiratory (flu, cold) You have been burning the candle at both ends so your immune system has become compromised. (Eat more yogurt) I hope you find a fast recovery and get your energy back as soon as possible. Hello Linda! So good to hear from you! It seems there is enough flu, Covid, and RSV to go around, along with the side effects these things bring. I was sick for Thanksgiving and my husband is dealing with acute bronchitis during the Christmas season. Please take care of yourself and Ben as I am sure you are still experiencing fatigue with loss of energy. Sometimes I too awake thinking of ideas and things to be done; once in awhile, solutions to problems come to mind. Really happy you are excited about life in general and plans for the new year. We really need to take care of ourselves and enjoy the what seem to be little things but give incredible enjoyment. The walk on your property was unbelievably peaceful and beautiful and oh, the splendid sky unsurpassed. When I was a child, when we told others what our favorite color was, mine was always sky-blue-pink and has remained my favorite to this day. Looking forward to your next segments. Thank you Linda and Ben for sharing with us!

You poor things…at least you had an inventory of flu medications and aids when Ben came down with it. I hope you’re both soon feeling much better. I guess you’re probably not going to be having a party for New Year’s Eve. I told my husband today that I wished we had some cheese, summer sausage, crackers, or chips and green onion dip, but I think it’ll probably be a quiet night for us, too. Even though it’s got to be disappointing to have a delay in getting your cabinets installed, you probably needed the time to fully recover. Glad you are on the mend. We are having unusual weather for mid Michigan: it is 54F and our snow is gone. We had rain today with winds from the south. Have you ever thought of restoring that old buggy in your woods??? It would be a big labor of love but you are uncovering more parts....just a thought. Hi Linda, God bless you for continuing with this video diary project even though you weren't feeling your best! It has been so much fun to see these updates through the holiday season. Btw I noticed the lil drugstore you had on the coffee table. Can recommend Oreganol. I learned about it when I worked at a natural foods grocery store. It was the most effective thing I ever tried and it's what we take whenever we feel something coming on. But... it tastes horrible! Really wretched. But boy does it work. You just have to plug your nose. Best wishes for a happy new year, and a beautiful and functioning kitchen.

Not sure the strain of flue you have there but you sound like the strain that’s here to . Your forest is beautiful . I was trying to identify a few leaves on the forest floor , think I saw some oak leaves. I once sprayed a number of oak leaves gold and decorated with them at Christmas . They were very pretty .
