Such great energy. I'm missing the cooler weather... but my nearly a year from getting back into skating at the park I see just a few more skaters coming out of nowhere it seems. I'm kinda shy to say anything but it brings me a lot of joy just to see them do their thing. Great video as always guys.
It’s always cool to just see random people skating. Hope you can work up the courage to go say hi and get a bit of a crew happening. My experience is that pretty much anyone with wheels on their feet is an instant buddy and you’ll have stories to share regardless of your abilities. I was pretty stoked to meet and have a great chat to one of Australia’s OG Pro’s from the XGames era at the skatepark the other day. Most people are just regular old humans even if they are amazingly awesome at something.
@@lukasgibb Thanks for the encouragement. I really hope I can get my head on straight and just be social. Pretty amazing you would catch someone like that in the wild. Did you point and say like "arent you???" that must have been a great experience. I always look forward to your vids and the energy it carries!
@@kobicaz - I know, I used to do it back when Cuong and Jess re-started it, but it's too close to the office (which I have successfully avoided since before COVID) to head in, and organising and doing the Tuesday Night Beach Skate is enough mid-week these days. Even going to Slalom on Thursday is a stretch! And I've pulled back from a lot of my involvement with Roller Derby in order to keep my love of skating.
Looking to get back into skating after 20 years and came across your channel. Early morning city skates before the hustle and bustle starts is a great idea. Do you guys have a social media presence where you organise group skates?
