This clip is just too funny! I watched the full special (A Wish for Wings that Work) for the first time last year, and it is hilarious! I didn't know what I was missing. Robin Williams was incredible as George the Kiwi in this scene - may he rest in peace and may his legacy live on forever.

i was so obsessed with this movie(?) as a kid! my parents loved the comic it was based on and soon after seeing this i started reading that too...most of it went way over my head as a kid there's something about this short that's just so charming to me. it's comfy but also weird as hell, and the animation is really cute. and there's a robin williams cameo, can't go wrong with that!

Dustin Hoffman as the cockroach too! Steven Spielberg was an executive producer for this special and was directing HOOK at the time, and decided that he wanted to pull in Hoffman and Williams to do voices. So during a break in shooting, he pulled them into a small studio to record their lines.
