The cycles of life, death, and rebirth.
Our winters are mild but our summers are harsh with blazing heat, drought and water restrictions due to wildfires. (You know summer is harsh when your bramble/blackberry bush is half dead.) My garden awakens in late winter, blooms in the spring, dies in the summer and is reborn in the fall for a brief time before once again going to sleep for the winter.
My garden is left alone to do whatever it wants 🌹🥀🌻🌷🌱🌾🌲🌿☘🍁🍂🍃and it is home to many 🐦🦉🦅🕊🐜🕷🐛🐞🦋🦟🦗🐝🐿🐀🦊🐈‍⬛🦌🐇🐍🪰🪱🦠
We do our best to ensure there is fresh water and the animals are welcome to eat whatever they want.
September has brought with it cooler temps and a little (still very little) rain.
