The world needs affordable EVs. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the BYD Dolphin 🐬 which at about 4 metres is the next size up from this 3.6m city car. The Dolphin might become the best selling subcompact hatchback.
Nice review. Want affordable price and light car: go back to basics, like no rear wiper. High center display diffcult to see in bright sun. Small tyres, means cheaper to replace. Product features not seen: will it catch fire, reliability, parts, repair and service. No petrol urban mobility is humanity progress.
Damn how are they able to sell 12k $ car with NCM battery, at this price point LFP are most common with sodium-ion coming only recently (and in very limited number).
Leapmotor please bringing this car to Indonesia, it's the best ev car in on the budget range, wuling very successfully with "air ev" n i think t03 it's better than that
It looks good, but I think e-Up has higher quality. Yes, it's much more expensive, but many of these Chinese cars, if they come to Europe will be much more expensive than in China.
How does the price compare to the local price of the Kwid EV? The retail prices in China are after deducting a subsidy and reflect the fact that EVs in China are currently exempt from some taxes. In Europe, prices reflect shipping, import duty, car registration tax , VAT and then any local tax incentives. The Dacia Spring is sold as a Renault Kwid in some markets. The EV version is made in China. The price in Europe is very disappointing; it seems to be priced based on what the company hopes it can get rather than reflecting costs plus a reasonable margin.
This is the first video I have seen of yours and you are great presenter. Clear, precise and very well spoken. I'm deaf so voice is important. Your report was great and I surely want one of these amazing cars. I live in Australia and far from the city, but I would still buy this car. Legacy auto is so far behind!!! Well done China.
Could you let us know if the infotainment system is also available in English, despite being sold in China? How about apps, do you know if there are any restrictions, or if I am able to install Google Maps or Spotify in it?
