Well done guys. Paul McCartney wrote this song and he wanted the Beatles to do it. John said he'd never sing a song that started with 'Please lock me way" in the lyrics! So Paul gave the song to Peter Asher ( of Peter and Gordon ) who was his girlfriend's brother.
