The audio department within ArenaNet are talented as heck and us players have known about it for a long time. But A World Without You was just so far above and beyond what any of us I think were expecting... sweet and heartfelt and such an amazing way to cap off a really well done expansion for a game we've adored for a decade now. AAAAAAAAA Now that I got that out of my system. I'm a vet from Guild Wars 1 and a proud Luxon (kudos to those who know what I mean). I've seen Ascalon City fall from Adelbern's hubris, fought against Abbadon's rise in Vabbi, slew Shiro the Betrayer alongside Kuunavang, aided Jora in her quest for redemption, even stood alongside Gwen Thackeray, Vekk, Livia and Ogden Stonehealer. Started a new adventure to slay Zhaitan, Mordremoth, Balthazar, Palawa Joko, Kralkattorik, Primordus and Jormag to only end Soo-Won's misery and bring about a new cycle's birth, the Age of Aurene, the Prismatic Dragon. Lost too many friends and allies along the way. Eir, Trahearne, Tybalt, Almorra. I'm still living to honor your memories. You're stars in the night sky. I hope you can see this from the Hall of Heroes, where you deserve to be.
This song feels like the end of an era. The epilogue to the prologue that is “Fear Not This Night”. I want to thank arena net for the entire guild wars franchise, not just guild wars 2, which has some of the best story telling I have ever experienced in a video game, but all of gw1. It has been a huge part of my youth and now that I am grown up and writing stories of my own, I owe it all to the adventures I had in Tyria, from the fight with the Lich, to Shiro Tagachi, to Rogue Gods, to the Elder dragons. Thank you Anet for the memories and the franchise, Asia Kadric for Fear Not This Night and you, Joyce Kwon, for A World Without You!
The emotional weight this music gave to the end of End Of Dragons was something I was not prepared for. I wouldn't have imagined feeling such strong emotions playing a MMORPG. Congratulations for your nomination for Best Original Song at Audiogang Awards, it's totally deserved! :)
Seriously, though! It really felt like a bitter sweet end of an era not just in the game but for many of the people playing the game. Guild Wars 1 never really had an appropriate ending as EotN set the stage for Guild Wars 2 and the beyond campaigns set the stage for it further. And as a veteran of Guild Wars 1's campaigns and playing guild wars 2 almost since launch back in 2012, this game series was very much a core aspect of my childhood and opened the door for my passion for gaming. This song certainly made me shed a tear as i sat there looking at the screen and realized that story was over, and my childhood is essentially over along with it. Thanks ArenaNet, Asja Kedric for Fear Not this Night and Joyce Kwon for this beautiful song. You made one hell of a series and ended it on a freaking high note.
I didn't expect to see an actual music video, but this song truly deserves it. The rainbow hue and the landscape makes the song even more magical. We will die all alone, we live alone most of the time in our heads, but the aspect of creating bonds and friendships in the world is the greatest gift we can give each other.

I finished EoD a little bit after my grandmother passed so this song really hit hard. Especially “there’s never been a world without you” because in my eyes there hasn’t. Thank you for this beautiful song
When i heard this song at the end of the expancion I literally cried. I almost never cry from media, but the amount of emotions that was given to me by this song owerwhelmed me. The fear for future, unsure about tomorrow, yet willing to face all the trials that our actions brought to this world to survive... This is nothing but amazing. Thank you for the video!🥰
Holy moly, at first i didnt know what song this was until she started singing and the tears kept rolling instantly. Its good we didnt know the song before this epic ending of EoD, now it feels the same like the first epic song Dont fear this night. It really gives me that thick throat like, it gives you FEELINGS. Absolutely stunning - The soundtrack had multiple songs that made me just stop playing and listen while taking in the scenery. The emotional power this song has in amplifying the game when it came on for me - *chefs kiss*
What a voice. I hadn't even played the game and it made my way into my Spotify playlist and has since overtaken the top spot on this year's most-played list and I couldn't be happier. I binged the hell out of this song and I'm not even remotely tired of it yet. I'll keep on listening.

Maclaine and crew did an unbelievable job with the eod soundtrack. Seriously one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard. Also, this is an awesome music video! It’s a surprise, but a welcome one!
I just finished the expansion a few days ago and I've been listening to this almost on loop ever since, it's so good and the EMOTIONS it evokes is amazing!
Beautiful & depending on what is happening in each of our lives, an even more personally meaningful impact. Considering what is happening in our world, so much man made brutality, in addition to Mother Nature's impact, it makes this song, appearing here now, all the more heartbreaking, moving...
It was the perfect end to a fairly bittersweet story. And this song sounds like it comes from Aurene. The last of her kind, left with the responsibility of learning to keep the world in balance... Alone.

After waiting for the vinyl release and getting to the very end of the album, hearing this (and now seeing the video) had such an impactful catharsis upon me. I am truly touched by the beauty and spirit imbued into the score
I had quit GW2 for about 5 years until recently and only finished EoD now. But damn this reminded me that GW2 has some incredible music. Absolutely love the song!
Indeed. Someone on another video once said this is the epilogue to "Fear Not This Night" as a prologue. The cycle of dragons is over...and now new adventures await us soon!
Man... I just finished EoD story and i was so emotional, i had to look for something else to hold on to. Thanks for this amazing music and thanks anet for the incredible storytelling.
They way we think of aurene and soowon, as protector and saints of good is how all other dragon minions also see their respective elder dragons with such passion. Feels very cult like, as if we are so deep into soowon and aurene’s influence that we worship them as god, not realizing we are actually corrupted by them :o
I don't remember hearing this in the game? (I might have missed it) I love it though, glad I'm hearing it now, very emotional. I wonder if it's foreboding the end of Aurene considering the lyrics and the prismatic rainbow effects, or perhaps (and more likely) soo-won.
Songs good but end of dragon's really didn't do much for me story wise I didn't really have any connection to so-won so sorry didn't over feel much at the end.
