The pivot is by far the most accurate thing I’ve seen in a boxing game so far…. The placement of punches as well. Here is hoping we find a way to support this title. Hopefully they want to make it better ….
2004 is okay, the punching has to be the best in any boxing games, but the blocking was so awful, stopping a punch fully just because you block it is just stupid, but the head movement was great too, I honestly think that if they built the next fight night around that one instead of champion, it could be the best one yet
True just take out the parry system and infinite stamina ruins boxing games .. if you combine fight night 2004 and with fight night champion you will have a complete boxing game ..
@@LovelyHeartDiamond I don’t mind the block/parry but I do hate the stun effect just take out the stun effect and make all fighters move and fight how they would irl
Add no cut scene in gameplay have ref break up clinching take points for fouls or if he takes a knee by body shot ko and do the 10 count and you have to walk back to your corner you can sucker punch but you’ll get dq
It seems like the two indie boxing games you've reviewed feel more like the people who made them were actually doing their best to make a good, technical/somewhat technical boxing game with what resources they had, whereas most of the indie MMA games you've played over the past year+ feel like they were either cynical asset flips (looking at you U-fight) or made by people that had no idea how to do that kind of game, which made it comically inept (Ultimate MMA)
Immediately purchased so I could play on the steam deck, found it to be completely unplayable, and swiftly returned. Won’t make the same mistake again and purchase until I see other saying the game is working. Even the price point is fine with me as long as it works
This game by far has way more potential than undisputed. The mechanics are accurate just needs more work. With the proper development this game could be great
Needs a lot of work but this shit is fire. I wish the devs had a big team that were willing to make the game exactly in the original developer’s vision
i hate how switching stances is pressing the knob it shouldn’t be so easy i find myself constantly switching stance that’s one thing i wish you could configure same with rage i wish i could just disable rage entirely lol
@@MartialMind true but i feel people competing to make the best boxing game right now isn’t the best decision cause there is literally 0 boxing games i could be wrong but im just voicing my opinion lmk your thoughts right now all of the boxing games are years old you would think a smart guy would drop the competition mindset and come together with a good team and truly make a great boxing game but it seems like everyone just wants to be the “one” who releases the next fight night type of game i understand that too but i just hope we get a good boxing game soon because its frustrating seeing so many guys get some parts of the game right but not get the GAME right
Body shots look sick! I hope this blossoms into something brilliant, please keep an eye on this martial and post more content as it continues to progress
