On this A-Z General Knowledge & Trivia Quiz, I scored 24/26. Missed J, and X. A few almost got by, but I remembered in the nick of time.🤔 Whew! For the bonus, it took me almost "7 Days" to realize that "The Magnificent Seven" had 7 points on the Statue of Liberty's crown. So close....😂 Thanks for the quiz, Dale. You may recall that these A-Z General Knowledge & Trivia Quizzes are my favorites. Or, have I ever mentioned that?😁 Thanks again....
@@c.r.1005 generally when others say the name of something e.g. Zee Zee Top, people should say it how the originators say it, not the way they think. E.g. Emu is EEMEW not EMOO, yet some pronounce it wrongly as EMOO...Then you do have the age old Boweee v Boeee...DB always left it ambiguous, like his being. It is strange how the language morphs into variations even though it is one language. Strangely Chinese is similar too, some say ren and some say jen for person. Tomatoes, tomartoes. Makes it all fun. As long as we all know what the other is saying it shouldn't make a difference anyway.
@@AH-km4ep It was all in jest. Dale and I have had a long running banter regards Zed vs Zee. A while ago, Dale especially mentioned me in the final question and pronounced it "zee." It sounded so out of place that I got to laughing and forgot to answer the question. Occasionally, some words are spelt differently in British English (The King's English?) and American English (Colonial English?). One word that comes to mind is Eyrie in the Old Country and frequently spelled Aerie in the States. Moves it from question #1 to #5. As I've stated before, Great Britain and the USA, two countries separated by a common language.🤣BTW, I take no credit for that quote. I've just repeated it. I believe that was said by George Bernard Shaw....
Great score and love your answer to the bonus question 😂😂 It’s funny - when I did ‘Z’ question I though of you immediately and was slightly tempted to say “Zed Zed Tops” 😂
@@QuizMasterDale definitely don’t make it easy!!!! Make em as hard as you can!!!! Nothing is worthwhile without some level of difficulty to obtain it…… These quizzes are the brain workout I need to stop me going senile in my old age 🤣🤣
On this week's a to z quiz I got 18 correct. The band is ZZ Top (no s) and an interesting factoid about the band is that the drummer who didn't have a beard his last name is beard. I have actually touched the Stanley Cup. It's the only one that the fans can actually touch in addition to the players who win it. As for the bonus the answer is 7
Well done Craig and I have no idea why I put a ‘s’ and the end of ZZ 😂 I love the fact about The Beard - brilliant! Also, it’s pretty cool that you’ve touched that cup - though I hope you didn’t pick it up - looks heavy 😀
@@QuizMasterDale I didn't lift it. I was at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto and they had guards around it but they let you touch the Stanley Cup and take photos with it but not lift it off of the table.
Your questions are missleading. The one question was the letter L. I thought the answer would start with l. The answer was lake victoria, which should have been letter v. I will unsubscribe
