On today's A-Z Quiz, I scored 24/26. I missed G (Just couldn't think of that name...), and T (just didn't get there in time). For the bonus, the Empire State Building was built in 1930-31. Thanks for another in a long line of excellent quizzes. No wonder they call you Quiz Master! 😁

Hi Dale, this is one of our favorites besides the pub quiz. We nailed this one 26/26 plus the bonus 1930-1931. Looking forward to the next ones this coming weekend. Glad you had a wonderful Father's Day and was spoiled rotten! Btw just a question, have you done a Harry Potter one yet in the pub quiz section? That would be easy peasy for me at least 😅

I didn't get Axilla, Manga, Olaf, Parkour and Quito .. so that's 21/26 If I remember correctly from the time that I went up it .. work started on the Empire State Buliding in March 1930 - and it opened in April 1931

Sorry Dale, but I'm a complete pedant. The answer to J is not Jackal. You should have used the letter W for the correct answer. The Egyptian jackal, which may have been the inspiration for the Egyptian god Anubis, is actually NOT a jackal at all but a member of the WOLF family. New genetic research in the open-access journal PLoS ONE finds that the Egyptian jackal is Africa's only member of the gray WOLF family. Love your quizzes by the way, but I just can't help myself sometimes. 😊 p.s., I've subscribed.
